Our Weasel of the Week!

Yes, once again, It’s time to present this week’s statuette of shame, The Golden Weasel!!

Every Tuesday, the Council nominates some of the slimiest, most despicable characters in public life for some deed of evil, cowardice or corruption they’ve performed. Then we vote to single out one particular Weasel for special mention, to whom we award the statuette of shame, our special, 100% plastic Golden Weasel. This week’s nominees were particularly slimy and despicable, but the votes are in and we have our winner…the envelope please…

and the Golden Weasel goes to...

and the Golden Weasel goes to…

Puma By Design : My nominee for Weasel of the Week goes to Barack Hussein Obama who began politicizing the death of nine people killed at Umpqua Community College in Oregon last week before rigor mortis set in (no disrespected intended, just trying to make a point).

I suspect that Obama‘s speech last week was actually written months ago, locked away in a desk in the Oval Office along with a batch of executive orders on gun control that the White House claims is being prepared for Obama’s signature.

Barack Obama

From Breitbart:

“It’s a high priority and will continue to be until we start to see more progress on this issue in this town,’ White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters today at the press briefing…
‘I can tell you that they’re not stumped, they’re continuing to review the law that’s on the books and continuing to consult with legal authorities but also others who may have ideas about what steps that can be taken to keep guns out of the hands of criminals,’ Earnest said…”

Obama’s been stewing like a petulant child since his 2013-failed attempt to overhaul the gun laws has been anxiously awaiting the perfect crisis to add another chapter to his legacy memoirs even though it means dancing on the graves of those killed by mentally unstable nut jobs nudged over the edge by several years of hateful conflict-ridden Marxist propaganda often espoused by Obama himself and his sock puppets in the mainstream media and streets of America.

Shakespeare had it right centuries ago. The fault is not in our stars but in ourselves in that we are underlings. And allow ourselves to be ruled in this fashion.

Well, there it is.

Check back next Tuesday to see who next week’s nominees for Weasel of the Week are!

Make sure to tune in every Monday for the Watcher’s Forum, and remember, every Wednesday, the Council has its weekly contest with the members nominating two posts each, one written by themselves and one written by someone from outside the group for consideration by the whole Council. The votes are cast by the Council, and the results are posted on Friday morning.

It’s a weekly magazine of some of the best stuff written in the blogosphere, and you won’t want to miss it…or any of the other fantabulous Watcher’s Council content.

And don’t forget to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter..’cause we’re cool like that, y’know?

  • Ken

I am anxiously awaiting the outcome of that sob’s visit to Oregon. Just watched O’Reilly on Fox and he only spoke to one couple who were related to one of the victims who was wounded in the back I think. They were adamant with their disdain for obama and his scheduled visit. They say they are not alone with there feelings. I do hope he meets with more embarrassment and shout downs. I imagine he will fly in his own audience though. I hate this man so much.

    • Ken, yesterday, after all this broke about Obama not being welcome there, I saw some city officials (can’t remember who they were) saying they would be honored to the president there. Made me shiver because that’s not how the people feel. I bet he will have shout downs unless they’re surrounded with brown shirts.

  • Rick Stanley

Excellent choice. He could probably be the weasel every damn week. KUDOS.

    • Rick, funny thing is, we no longer nominate BO for that reason. He’d be the Weasel of the Week every week, but one Council member wasn’t aware of that decision. 🙂 Thanks for coming by and reading.
