Kevin McCarthy Renee Ellmers? Border Patrol Wants a Conservative Speaker? Check Out the IP

I listened as Shepherd Smith showed some amazingly biased and pouty attitude today, even for him, and tried to shame Congressman Walter Jones (R-NC) into explaining more than he wanted to explain after writing a letter to leadership asking anyone with skeletons in their closet to not run for Speaker. Shep badgered for a name. Jones held his own, said he wasn’t referring to anyone in particular, just a request for no messy business to pop up as a new Speaker was chosen. I think Shep believed the letter was referred to McCarthy, who had announced that he was pulling out of the race. That didn’t make Shep happy. McCarthy was his guy and could be counted on to raise the debt ceiling with no concessions. But the story this evening is that someone made some changes on Wikipedia pages today devoted to Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC). Apparently, something about an affair. Someone captured the IP address. This article from Daily Caller says the IP comes from Department of Homeland Security offices in Springfield, Virginia. I captured the following from Who.Is showing the address as 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC. And more than Homeland Security, it pegs the Office of Customs and Border Patrol and the exact office number. IPs have ranges and I don’t know much about that, so Springfield, VA or Washington, DC? Both McCarthy and Ellmers have denied an affair. Before you leave, take a look at my question below and tell me if you have an answer. Also see the video of Shep and Congressman Jones.

Hubby says to me, “why would Democrats want to ruin McCarthy?” I had to think about it for a few minutes, and then realized that the above points to the offices of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, inside Homeland Security, and I think it’s fair to say, CBC has had it with Liberals, and maybe wants a conservative speaker as desperately as you and I do. Maybe they knew a secret and decided to share it. Maybe … Maybe none of it’s true.
