Not that the moment hasn’t been right for several sessions of the House of Representatives. Remember J.D. Winteregg’s clever campaign ploy in 2014. “When you have a Boehner for more than 23 years…“Read more below, and as I said then, I dare you not to guffaw. Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) filed a motion to remove John Boehner (R-OH) from the speakership, or in House-speak “vacate the chair.” Will Boehner let it come up for a vote? Bet he can’t wait, but oh, wait a minute, some close to him are “discouraging him from doing so.” Democrat votes would have to add to majority support to make this work. Video below.
In the resolution, Mr. Meadows saysMr. Boehner, Ohio Republican, “has endeavored to consolidate power and centralize decision-making, bypassing the majority of the 435 Members ofCongress and the people they represent.”
He accused the speaker of limiting debate, pushing legislation to the brink to compel votes in a state of crisis, and moving to “punish Members who vote according to their conscience” instead of how he wants
Ohioan J.D. Winteregg (who doesn’t “golf) will once again oppose John Boehner for his 8th District House seat in 2016. Don’t miss this clever campaign video from the former Winteregg campaign, and remember to encourage your Congressman to vote ‘yes’ on the Meadows motion (if given the opportunity, which is doubtful).

If you have a Boehner lasting longer than 23 years…
My Congressman, Jim Bridenstine (R-OK), took his oath of office for the time, and went to the floor and voted against Boehner for Speaker. That took some real grit. It’s a scary thing to do. Committee assignments are often compromised when going against House leadership. This is a good time to call your Congressman and give him two thumbs up on voting ‘yes’ to oust Boehner.
