Early July 2015: Judge Andrew Napolitano and Catherine Herridge, both of Fox News, confirmed astounding, but not unexpected, Benghazi news. Obama and Hillary Clinton conspired to sell arms to the Libyan opposition, without going through lawful procedures to do so. As a result, and because of the incompetence of Obama and Hillary, or perhaps by design, American weaponry fell into the hands of American enemies, and Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods and Glen Doherty were killed by our own weapons. Once again, we see fools, Senator John McCain’s (and Lindsey Gramnesty’s) aiding and abetting the enemy –– specifically ISIS! Judge Napolitano also said in an interview with Charles Payne on Fox Business, that “a former member of Congress and his wife,” received financial gains from the conspiracy. That’s the short story. Details, reminders and transcripts below. On top of the short story, more news today that Hillary’s emails have a total two-month gap between Clinton and her State Department staff during a crucial Benghazi period:
A State Department spokesman told The Daily Beast that only emails related to the security of U.S. diplomats in Libya or the consulate in Benghazi were turned over to the House select committee investigating the deadly Sept. 11, 2012 attack. If true, that means neither Clinton nor her staff communicated via e-mail during a period that saw three attacks on international outposts in Benghazi, including one on the consulate itself. Source
What I saw has persuaded me beyond a reasonable doubt and to a moral certainty that Mrs. Clinton provided material assistance to terrorists and lied to Congress in a venue where the law required her to be truthful. Here is the back story. ~ Judge Napolitano
Napolitano said some of the rebel groups were on the United States’ list of terrorist organizations, so providing “material assistance” to them would be a felony.
Napolitano said arms dealers received permission lawfully from the State Department to sell the weapons to the government of Qatar.
“Qatar then sold, delivered, bartered or gave these arms to the terrorist organizations with the consent of Hillary Rodham Clinton,” he said, adding that it is “crystal clear” from the documents that U.S. officials knew where the weapons would end up…
…that a conspiracy existed between the president, and Mrs. Clinton, and Congressional leaders from both parties in both
Houses others in the State Department, the Treasury Department and the Justice Department to get arms shipped to rebels in Syria and in Libya ~ Judge Andrew Napolitano
Among the documents Napolitano reviewed are statements from Marc Turi, a licensed U.S. arms dealer. He was approved by the State Department to handle some of the deposed Gaddafi government’s arms but said The State Department decided to go it alone –– perhaps just as Hillary, reportedly, chose a security detail to protect Ambassador Stevens that was not approved by our government.
The State Department frequently hires security companies to protect diplomats in conflict zones. It usually is done through what’s known as the Worldwide Protective Services contract, in which a handful of approved firms compete to safeguard specific diplomatic installations. In 2010, State selected eight firms for the most recent contract. Blue Mountain wasn’t among them, and the State Department did not explain why the Benghazi consulate contract did not go to one of those eight firms. Unless Turi concocted these emails, which would be nearly impossible, he has presented sound documentary, irrefutable evidence to show that this was a covert operation, a grand conspiracy, if you will, one thinks and one wonders, when one sees the constellation of political super stars, who signed off on this, and you get back to the emails, that members of Congress absolutely knew about it. ~ Judge Napolitano
Mark Turi from the video linked above:
If you had a properly allocated supply chain, where you had everything under control, you would have had our personnel receiving that equipment on the ground, in Libya, and then taking it back to our warehouse, under our control, and then giving it to vetted sources –– if they would have followed that procedure, maybe Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods and Glen Doherty would be alive today. ~ Marc Turi
Turi’s “partner,” and “adviser,” David Manners, had 18 years experience with the CIA in Jordan and Czechoslovakia. Manners stated in a document, “in his expert opinion, the United States did participate directly or indirectly in the supply of weapons to the Libyan Transitional Council.”
The TNC was established in 2011, but in July 2012 held elections, with the electees taking power on August 8, 2012, less than a month before the Benghazi attacks on our Mission. Ambassador Chris Stevens “was named as the official U.S. liasion to the Libyan opposition in March 2011.
[He] was tasked with coordinating U.S. assistance to the rebels, whose top military commander, Abdel Hakin Belhadj, was the leader of Al Qaeda affiliate, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG). That means that Stevens was authorized by the U.S. Department of State and the Obama administration to aid and abet individuals and groups that were, at a minimum, allied ideologically with Al Qaeda, the jihadist terrorist organization that attacked the homeland on the first 9/11 …According to August, 2012 reports leaked to the media, sometime earlier in 2012, President Obama signed an intelligence finding to permit the CIA and other US government agencies to provide support to the Syrian rebels, whose ranks are reported to be dominated by Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood and other jihadist fighters who already are supported by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other jihadist regimes. Was Belhadj a conduit for U.S. support, perhaps via Turkey?…Source: Clarion Project
CIA operatives reportedly were on the Turkish-Syrian border helping to steer weapons deliveries to selected Syrian rebel groups. According to an Oct. 14, 2012 New York Times article, most of those arms were going to “hard-line Islamic jihadists.”
One of those jihadis may well be Abdelhakim Belhadj, former leader of the Al-Qa’eda-linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIGF) and head of the Tripoli Military Council after Qaddafi’s outster…Belhadj was almost certainly a key contact of the U.S. liaison to the Libyan opposition, Christopher Stevens.
Seven days before Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans were murdered in our Benghazi Special Mission and CIA annex, an interview with Abdel Hakim Belhadj with Le Monde was republished. He became the head of Libya’s Transnational Government Military Council, said to be in sole control of Libya’s security in August 2011 until May of 2012. Belhadj and the CIA has ‘history.’
Today, it is believed that Belhadj is the leader of ISIS in Libya. How often to you hear that reminder? He was considered a “freedom fighter,” by the U.S. and NATO allies. Abdel Hakim Belhadj had a long, uncomfortable relationship with the CIA, and with Muammar Gaddafi. In the post above, I asked this question:
Why would the CIA believe they could work with Belhadj, and why would they want to? I can understand why Belhadj would see the co-operation a great opportunity for heavy-handed payback, but cannot resolve the CIA engaging him.
At this time, the U.S. had not officially recognized the TNC. Turi provided emails quoting Hillary Clinton directly, saying that she was interested in arming the rebels using contractors. In the end, they did so, failing to use licensed contractors who would vet those on the receiving end:
They were going to run it with their people, and who that is, I have no idea. I sat back and watched this unravel, and it went south really quick.~ Marc Turi
Statements/Testimony from Senator Rand Paul, Hillary Clinton, Napolitano, Herridge, and Turi from the videos linked above:
Herridge: Turi said he heard disturbing reports from his contacts on the ground in Libya, about weapons arriving from Qatar, and falling into the wrong hands.
Turi: When this equipment landed in Libya, half went one way, and the half went the other way.” the half that went the other way, is the half that ended up in Syria.
Herridge: [refers to a] Defense Intelligence Agnecy report document obtained by a Judicial Watch lawsuit provides further confirmation that weapons were flowing, unchecked in the weeks leading up to the 2012 [September 12, 2011] attack”
“Weapons from the former Libyan military stockpile, were shipped from the Port of Benghazi, Libya to the ports of Banias and the Port of Borj Islam, Syria.”
Fox News has reported extensively about the shipment of weapons, including MANPADS aboard the Libyan ship, al-Antizar, Turkey, five days before the Benghazi assault.
This is what then Secretary Clinton told Senator Rand Paul in her only testimony to date”
PAUL: My question is, is the U.S. involved with any procuring of weapons, transferring of weapons, buying, selling, any how transferring weapons to Turkey out of Libya.
Hillary Clinton: [faking befuddlement] To Turkey! I’ll have to take this for the record. No one has ever raised that with me.
Rand Paul: It’s been in news reports that shipments have been leaving from Libya, and that they may have weapons. What I’d like to know is that the annex close by –– were they involved with procuring, buying, selling, obtaining weapons, and were any of these weapons being transferred to other countries –– any countries, Turkey included?
Hillary: Well, Senator, you’ll have to direct that question to the agency that ran the annex. I will see what information is available, and …
Paul: You’re saying you do not know?
Hillary: I do not know. I don’t have any information on that.
Herridge: Two weeks after that testimony, this State Department letter was sent to Senator Paul. It skirted his question, saying the U.S. government is not involved in any transfer of weapons from Libya to Turkey.
Napolitano: You know, when this comes out, as a result of the work we’re doing, the fury ought to be, against the 95 percent of Congress who were not informed of this, who did not have a say in it, and because the Constitution says only Congress can declare war, Mrs. Clinton effectively ran a secret State Department, within the State Department.
Don’t you want to the name of the former member of Congress who benefitted, FINANCIALLY, from the deaths of four Americans. I do.
