Anus, Vagina, Penis Greet Elementary, Middle Schoolers at UC Berkely Tour: PrePlanned Event

Really, there isn’t another way to say it and still get the message out. Those words in the title are a part of the story connected to elementary and middle school children. Campus Reform says children did not tour the UC Berkely campus accidentally. It was “a preplanned event” and the “Sex Ed tent” was located in an unfortunate spot on the campus during the school’s “celebration of National Condom Week.”

UPDATE 2-27-14: There has been a lot of controversy over the original photo that accompanied this story, which was included in the original story linked below. Children were in the photo in front of the poster above. Readers left a link to the photo of the children, which led to a religious site, meaning that the original was photoshopped. I have removed the children.

A group of elementary and middle school students touring University of California – Berkeley last week were exposed to a man in a giant penis costume and school-sponsored sex games.

“All day long, little kids were prancing by the dental dam demonstrations, sex-themed games of chance, and the guy in the penis suit,” student Claire Chiara said in an interview with Campus Reform Thursday.

The children were led through the campus quad while Berkeley students were playing “pin-the-tail on the anus” and tossing condoms through holes on a poster board meant to represent vaginas and anuses.

There was also a man dressed as a giant penis handing out condoms, although he was not permitted to hand them to the children.

The events were not spontaneous but pre-planned as part of the school’s celebration of National Condom Week.

Ugly story. Parents, you have your hands full. I hope you are paying attention, including the parents of college students.

the entire thrust, pardon the pun, of the left-wing sex education drive is child molestation — what else do you call filling innocent heads with sexual images from such an early age? the folks who mount such spectacles would find it perfectly healthy for the kids to take part.

    • nbamron, I doubt putting the tent where they put it was any accident. Like everything else evil and ugly, it’s an agenda with the satan running the show.

  • Always On Watch

Right now, many parents have a way to opt their children out of such perverse field trips.

    But mark my words….

The day is coming when opting out will not be allowed — and when homeschooled students will be forced to attend such events.

  • Always On Watch

Question: Did anyone object to this tour?

    • AOW, I don’t know if there were objections. Last night there was nothing on it except the Campus Reform story. I’m going to follow-up.

      • SkyWatcher

Thanks for bringing the dirt forward. Parents need to know that school is NOT what it once was.

  • clayguy1

People should be arrested and thrown in jail along with every pervert now serving time who prey on our innocent children… this is a sex crime as far as I’m concerned.. that roving penis should be put into a condom like cell forever.

    • clayguy1, those cells would save us a lot of money! We could double the space to put child predators away.

      • clayguy1

As far as I’m concerned and knowing where this was.. I wouldn’t be surprised that there were NAMBA members in the faculty..

      • clayguy1

Someone on Facebook said that that picture of the children may be photoshoped … do you know if it’s an actual picture of the not?

        • Christopher Willis

Yes, it is a stock photo, and a poor Photoshop job at that. Any journalist worth a damn would of been able to find this image of these kids all over the internet and known it wasn’t legit and rather a modified stock photo.

So the only people with bankrupt morals are the people who posted this story

  • clayguy1

Oops.. NAMBA is North American Model Boat Association… sorry.. They could be members of the faculty as well.. lol

  • KatieNorcross

These people have no morals, no common sense. Up until a few years ago they would have been arrested for public indecency. Today they are applauded.

    G-d help us all.

  • Fixall

Disgusting!!!!! Parents wake up to what is going on in your schools. Get your heads out of the sand. Very soon you will not even know who your children are. And it is not just field trips like this, but the so called “Common Core” that is BRAINWASHING” your kids. “WAKE UP”

    • SkyWatcher

I agree. Common Core is an assault on our children. n their right mind would expose small children to a college campus. They could see anything at all that might be undesirable. Is educating these children so young a ploy for more abortions and thus more free fetuses for reasearch??? Too many educators have taken on a dark side.

  • The moral of this story? Never let your pre-college age kids tour a college campus without a) genuine adult supervision, and b) a large dose of disinfectants and antibiotics.

  • Dawn E. Worswick

They probably just told the parents they were going to Berkeley which is a college…I bet if ANY of the parents knew what would be on display, most of them would have opted out. I would have sued the school and the college.

  • Better than you

Wow, such hatred of sex education…. may you all get STI’s. Also that photo is clearly photoshopped to cause maximum emotional response.

I can’t even begin to address the stupidity of making sex education akin to child molestation. I might even go as far to guess that those of you who feel this is deeply inappropriate have deeply repressed desires and should consider talking to a professional to reduce the risk your mental instabilities could cause actual harm.

My guess is that all the children on this trip were completely unaffected by the event, I certainly read the headline with mild amusement of what I guess was an administrative oversight. Its clear none of the other commentors have attended any significant higher education, but I have found universities in my home country to be rather chaotic places in terms of on campus events, not the controlled and structured lifestyle you experienced in high school.

If you want a deep insight into the problems with highly repressed sexual education look no further that the many issues faced by Africa, and the religiously repressed American communities. If you want evil, and satans agenda, i can’t think of an eviler group that you lot.

    Goodnight

  • LeftyInAlabama

This is probably one of the worst photoshops I’ve seen in a while. Look at the lighting of the kids, then the background. Had this been legitimate, they would have at least had the same lighting. There are a number of other glaring flaws, including the fact the children are from a very common stock photo, but all in all, this is a Riefenstahlian attempt at propaganda. I would say you should be ashamed of yourself, but reading the marginally literate screed you call a post and the comments below, it’s clear you lot are completely shameless.

For the record, the entire thrust of “left wing sex education” is to teach people how to be safe when they engage in the behavior we all know they will engage in, and providing that education in an age appropriate manner. Right wing “sex education” means abstinence only. I am a democratic socialist, which you may recognize as being moderate left in European terms, though you morons doubtlessly have your own derp-filled definition of the term. I can only speak for myself, but I would rather teens not engage in sex until adulthood. That said, the real world results of “abstinence only” is higher rates of teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

  • Christopher Willis

You guys know this is a bad photoshop image right? I guess my last post got deleted or something, but it is easy to find the image of the kids…it is a stock photo.

    http://www.crossofchrist.us/site/default.asp?sec_id=180013193

    • Christopher Willis, the story was about what went on that day. The photo I have of Obama and Putin on a bear is also photoshopped. I used the word “allegedly” on the photo.

      • Christopher Willis

I don’t see how that makes it right, though. Don’t you think that is a bit dishonest? Perhaps you should clear that up with your readers that it is a fake photo in case they try and pass it off as legitimate…so much bad information out there, you don’t want to pile onto that, at least I assume you don’t 😀

        • Christopher Willis, the word “allegedly” is a heads-up to my readers, but I can see that on your blog, you might word it differently and that’s fine with me. No, I don’t think it is dishonest, I wrote “allegedly,” and now I’m finished talking about this. Move on.

  • Chuck Notaro

Wait, you’re saying that isn’t a Photoshopped image?

    • Chuck Notaro, no I didn’t say this isn’t a photoshopped image. The picture said, from the beginning, “allegedly.”

  • Guest

Let me get this right, you post a badly photoshopped image and claim it is real, then delete any comments calling you out for it?
    Does lying comfort you?

    • Guest, or Chuck Notaro, this is how to get it straight, I didn’t say this is not a photoshopped image, or a badly photoshopped image, I said it was “allegedly” ya da ya da It was the photo that with the article that quoted the Berkely student recounting what went on that day.

  • Christopher Warren

Who needs evidence when you can use loaded language, bad Photoshopping, and a complete deletion of 90% of the comments calling you out on your BS, amirite?!

    http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Burning_the_evidence

    • Christopher Warren, as I said, do what you want to do at your blog. No one is forced to read here. The story is what the story says a UC Berkely student is quoted saying. I asked you to move on. Readers here can make up their own minds about what they want to read and what they do not want to read. It is really NONE of you business whether I delete comments or not.

      • Christopher Warren

It is when you resort to blantant lying to support your baseless accusations

        • No, it isn’t your business. Just go elsewhere. It’s a photo with the word “allegedly” under it. Don’t come back.

          • The Watcher

Why do you keep telling everyone who disagrees with you to leave? Why are you so opposed to keeping dissent off your site?

            • So trolls stalk Disqus? I’ve had my say. No more. It’s easy for me to hit the delete key when a discussion has nothing to do with the quote the story derives from.

              • The Watcher

Yes, you can. You can delete everyone here who disagrees with you. But then you’ll just be living in a little echo chamber without any dissenting voices. Voices who–and this is really the crux of the issue–may be able to teach you something.

Let me ask you this: What if you were wrong? Wouldn’t you want to be told?

          • Christopher Warren

            1: I’ll post what I want, when I want.
            2: alleged

            adj.
Represented as existing or as being as described but not so proved; supposed.

So if there’s room to doubt the initial statement, why are you typing up an article that largely presents the situation as true? That’s extremely deceitful….
