Hotels in the area of Russia’s “ring of steel” around the city of Sochi have received a warning that the widow of a “neutralized” terrorist, Ruzanna Ibragimova, may have traveled from Dagestan and “breached” the Olympics security zone on January 11th or 12th. She may be connected to the Ansar Al-Sunna group that recently bombed a Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad) railway station and a bus at the end of December 2013. Ruzanna or Ruzana Ibragimova is 22 and is also known as “Salima” and the “White Widow.” According to the DEBKAfile, Russian security forces are looking for three females, collectively known as the the Black widows.
“According to our information Ms Ibragimova may be used by the ring leaders of illegal armed groups for the organisation of terrorist acts in the zone of the 2014 Olympics,” the notice says.

While the notice does not mention the term, the widows of fighters killed in the on-going conflict between Islamist separatists and Russian forces in the North Caucasus have been used in the past as suicide bombers.
Russia has deployed 40,000 police and security personnel in a “ring of steel” around Sochi to deter attacks by Islamist militants from the nearby North Caucasus republics.
The notice for Ms Ibragimova, 22, is the first sign that terrorists may have managed to penetrate the security cordon.
The security alert comes as a previously unknown group claimed responsibility for the suicide bombings that killed 34 people in Volgograd, 400 miles from Sochi, in December. Read more about the al-Qaeda-connected group here.
An ABC report says the image above is also posted in the Sochi airport, located on the Black Sea. The city has about 343,000 residents.
