Confidential IRS Tax Info Exchanged with White House High Level Officials: Lying, Thieving, Evil Bureaucrats

Confidential taxpayer information (maybe yours, maybe mine) was sent to high level officials in the White House in what we now know was/is a crime – the crime of the IRS illegally targeting Conservatives and delaying tax exempt status for years in some cases. Obama has denied knowing anything about the scandal – going all the way back to May 13, 2012, but testimony today confirmed, by golly, the White House was involved, uh huh.

“I first learned about this from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this,” Obama began.

“This is pretty straightforward.

If, in fact, IRS personnel engaged in the kind of practices that have been reported on and were intentionally targeting conservative groups, then that’s outrageous.” ~ Barack Obama May 2013

“It’s pretty inconceivable to me that the president wouldn’t know,” Boehner said in an interview with Fox News Channel’s Greta van Susteren. “I’m just putting myself in his shoes. I deal with my senior staff every day. And if the White House had known about this, which now it appears they’ve known about it for about a year, it’s hard to imagine it wouldn’t have come up in some conversation.” ~ John Boehner May 2013

Emails provided to Daily Caller between the IRS and the White House:

The emails provided to Oversight [House Oversight Committee] investigators by the IRS had numerous redactions with the signifier “6103.”

Section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code forbids a federal employee from “disclos[ing] any return or return information obtained by him in any manner in connection with his service as such an officer or an employee.”

Federal employees who illegally disclose confidential taxpayer information could face five years in prison.

“Thanks, David. Thanks for the information on [6103],” White House official Lambrew wrote to IRS official David Fish in a July 20, 2012 exchange. “I am still hoping to understand whether the 50 percent rule is moot if the organization does not offer goods and services for sale to the general public. Do we assume that organizations like [6103] do offer goods and services for sale?”

Another email from Montz [White House Health Policy advisor] to Ingram [Sara Hall Ingraham – Top Internal Revenue Service Obamacare Official] and others refers to the “[6103] memo” and the “[6103] letter” while discussing organizations that are not required to file 990′s. Isn’t that special? Ingram is in charge of the ObamaCare IRS goon squad.

You won’t be surprised to learn that Sara Hall Ingram couldn’t remember a thing about her emails or about whose names are blacked out in the numerous redactions. Just doesn’t remember.

Congressman Darrell Issa to Ingram:

“Well one of the areas of interest is there’s a significant redaction that quotes the statute 6103. Do you know who is underneath that blackout?” Issa asked Ingram.

“I don’t recall the document so I can’t help you with what’s underneath that redaction,” Ingram said.

“Her response has not put concerns to rest,” Oversight staffer Frederick Hill said. ”This caught people’s eye.”

Issa has requested unredacted copies of the emails, citing a prohibition from misusing Section 6103 “for the purpose of concealing information from a congressional inquiry.”

Ingram headed the scandal-ridden IRS office responsible for overseeing tax-exempt nonprofit groups before leaving to head the agency’s office in charge of Obamacare implementation.

During Ingram’s testimony today, Congressman Gary

Gerry Connolly

Gerry Connolly

Connolly (D-VA) mocked Republicans and indicated the questioning was a witch hunt.

Republicans asked her about her agency’s plans for penalizing Americans who fail to sign up for health insurance, and about personal taxpayer information she allegedly shared with White House functionaries.

But Rep. Gerry Connolly saw the hearing as a witch hunt. He asked her about the 1692 Salem witch trials immortalized in Arthur Miller’s play ‘The Crucible,’…’Have you been consorting with the devil? Are reports that you can fly accurate?’ Source: Mail Online

Democrats have no respect for Congressional inquiries. Since impeaching Clinton, their nasty, tiny little brains claim every investigation is a witch hunt. Now we have emails for gosh sake. The IRS DID share confidential information about taxpayers with the White House and the whole mess is a part of targeting Conservatives applying for 501(c) tax exempt status.

The Rule of Law gets no respect from the Left. Unless the Rule of Law is dead in this country, and it looks like it is, one day…one day, the Rule of Law will decide it won’t be usurped – not another time.
