Northeastern Republican Peter King Calls Ted Cruz Followers a Dark Stain in American Psyche

Congressman Peter King (R-NY) understands that should a man like Senator Ted Cruz gain leadership he will eventually support term limits and repealing the 17th Amendment – huge threat to Rep. Peter King’s career. In the most appalling attack from the GOP on the GOP, Peter King claims Cruz supporters have called his office and and said “vile,” “obscene” things.

Peter King is THE dark stain on the American Conservative Political Psyche

Peter King is THE dark stain on the American Conservative Political Psyche

“I’m not saying Ted Cruz is responsible for all his supporters, but he has tapped into a dark strain here in the American political psyche here, and again, the most obscene, profane stuff you can imagine all from people who say they support the Constitution,” King said. “I think what we have to do is reach out to his people and let them know that they’re following a false leader here.”

The “dark” stains “in the American psyche” are northeastern and northwestern politicians and every Democrat in power who have led us to this terrible place. It’s enough to ruin a beautiful vacation.

I believe King is lying. If he had such phone calls, they would be few, but I can believe that people were madder than hell and didn’t mind saying so. I’ll remind King that he has been in office since 1993 and ObamaCare has been law since December 2009. King has not done a single significant thing in four years to repeal or ObamaCare. Yes, he has voted, but he hasn’t been vocal, hasn’t stirred public passions. Cruz was sworn-in in January and shone a harsh light on ObamaCare.  This law is too terrible for Congress to abide by. Isn’t that a clue. KING HAS DONE NOTHING PRODUCTIVE. I am so disgusted by the GOP.

  • EFF Peter King! What is his game? Perhaps Peter sees Ted Cruz as a threat to his own political ambitions? I have developed ZERO tolerance for men like Peter King.

  • I FOLLOW CRUZ BECAUSE HE FOLLOWS THE CONSTITUTION AND DEFENDS THE PEOPLE. UNLIKE A LOT OF THE MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE THAT DON`T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE PEOPLE. WE THE PEOPLE RUN THIS COUNTRY. WHAT IS THE BEGINNING WORDS OF THE CONSTITUTION, WE THE PEOPLE AND BOTH PARTIES SO MANY HAVE FORGOTTEN THIS

  • We need more like Cruz and fewer like King. Living by the constitution works and all else FAILS.

    Ditto what Maggie says!

  • I can not fathom why the GOP seems determined to eat their own for lunch. Even if they disagree with the tactics Cruz uses, can then not at least see he is trying to warn the rest of the country about Obamacare? I am beginning to believe they simply do not care about anything, unless it is retaining their grip on the power within the GOP.

  • And they say a southern accent sounds stupid; my gosh, I can’t stand to listen to this doofus — even if what he said were sensible, he sounds like a moron. But he isn’t sensible. This jerk wants to run for the presidency because he has to protect the GOP from its conservatives and anti-permanent war base. He wouldn’t take New York, much less anyplace else. Keep talking — more and more of the GOP incumbents are going to be retired.

  • I share your sentiments; Peter King is a disgrace and, if you don’t mind me saying so, if you believe that the people are the state, he is an enemy of the state.

When Gabby Giffords was shot and congress critters went gaga about sitting with opposition party members as a sign of unity about something or other, Peter King joined Chuck Schumer in proposing that it be against the law for a private citizen to be armed while within 1,000 feet of a “federal official”. Verily, verily, protect The Club because they’re just so much better and more important than regular Americans.

  • Vile, obscene?

    Pot, kettle-kettle, pot.

This guy is a Zionist. That’s his entire focus. Maybe you guys just haven’t noticed because he hasn’t insulted you before. Nothing he says needs to be taken seriously. He needs to be watched so that he doesn’t hurt Americans trying to support Israel and Jewish issues.

Having been born and raised in NY, I’m quite familiar with Pete King . . . he’s a dirtbag and a half. He’s about as conservative as one can get in that part of the Country.

He loves to flash his conservative credentials but don’t be fooled, he is a dyed in the wool [down to the roots] rino personified. When impeachment was starting to swirl around Bubba Clinton back in the 90’s, Bubba bought off Pete King on a critical vote by providing him with a plane ride on Air Force One.

King is a weasel of the first order.
