Glenn Beck has released a photo and transcript of the cover of the “Event File” opened on Saudi National, Abdul Rahman al-Harbi, who was found injured at the scene immediately after the Boston bombings and hospitalized. We were told he was “under guard,” and depending on who and what you believe, we were told he was either a “suspect” or “person of interest” in the case.” Then Glenn Beck broke the story that al-Harbi was scheduled for deportation with a Department of Homeland Security designation of 212 3B status, which Beck said means having “terrorist ties,”…Janet Napolitano said he was not being deported, then on Wednesday, April 17th at 5:35 pm the Event File had been changed and al-Harbi was no longer being deported and no longer had ties to terrorism. Then suddenly he was none of the above and was no longer of interest to anyone except to Barack and Michelle Obama in a very cozy way. According to photos allegedly posted by al-Harbi on his Facebook page, Barack and Michelle visited him in the White House, which was a very nice thing to do, because one Abdul Rahman al-Harbi visited the White House numerous times.
IMPORTANT UPDATE 4/25/13 @ 1:27 pm: Fox News’ Brett Baier has a detailed explanation given to him by authorities which seems to explain away the 212 3B Status and completely clear Abdul Rahman al-Harbi and it is all based on DHS saying that the document connecting al-Harbi to terrorism was auto-generated immediately when he was hospitalized and put under guard. See that video here.
ALHARBI, ABDULRAHMAN ALI E

Subject is an exact match to NO FLY TPN# 1037506192. Derogatory information reviewed by W/C Mayfield and CW/C Maimbourg was found to be sufficient to request Visa revocation. Beck explained: “Derogatory information reviewed...That means, we have been presented bad information…and it was reviewed, and found to be sufficient. Subject has One (1) prior event...[That means] when they opened this when he was at the hospital, they found he’s already in the system.”
“A 212, 3B [is] the biggest warning we can put on anybody,” Beck explained for those unfamiliar with the term. “You do not put people’s name on there easily…this is a terrorist designation, and there is a panel of agencies that you have to go and make your case to. It’s not like you’re standing in the hospital room and they say: ‘Make him a 212,3B.’ And if they are, they’re abusing their power….It is so rare that somebody’s name is taken off outside of death, that none of ours sources can tell us that it’s ever happened. It is laughable what Janet Napolitano said yesterday.”
Beck has said that al-Harbi’s VISA was designated as a student to attend university in Ohio, but he could find no evidence that he went to Ohio, but did find that he had an apartment in Boston.
The second visitor log above shows the time the visit began and ended. If I understand it correctly, Item 1 began at 7:30 am and ended at 11:59 pm. Almost two years later, Item 3 began at 11:30 am and ended again at exactly 11:59 pm. Item No. 4, two days earlier than Item 3 began at 11:30 am and ended again at…exactly 11:59 pm. Not only is the ending appointment time odd, but these are very long visits.
The Abdul Rahman al-Harbi we are talking about is a student. Has he been here since 2009, or is this another Abdul Rahman al-Harbi, and if it is another of the same name, who is he and how is he connected? I believe we can assume he is connected because his name is “al-Harbi. Thanks to PolitiJim’s Rants (read What Do Constitutional Conservatives Do Now) and Obama Release Your Records
