Ricin Letters: Everett Dutschke Arrested in Tupelo: Dutschke Under Investigation for Child Molestation

Everett Dutschke was arrested today in Tupelo, Mississippi in connection with the ricin-laced letters sent to Barack Obama, Sen. Roger Wicker and Mississippi Judge Sadie Holland. Paul Kevin Curtis, an Elvis impersonator, was released on Tuesday, is not charged with anything and is not considered a suspect or a person of interest. Dutschke and Curtis allegedly know each other, and had less than a friendly relationship. Dutschke is an accused child molester and currently under investigation by the Tupelo Police and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department. He ran for the Mississippi House of Representatives against the son of Judge Holland. Dutschke lost.

Dutschke is a martial arts instructor and Curtis is also trained in Taekwondo. Hazmat officials searched Dutschke’s former taekwondo studio in full protective gear.

“Charges in the case were initially filed against an Elvis impersonator, Kevin Curtis, but then dropped. Attention then turned to Dutschke, who has ties to the former suspect and the judge and senator.” Source: Daily Mail

Paul Kevin Curtis told authorities he thought Dutschke had framed him.

“He said he may have been framed by Dutschke, an accused child molester, martial arts instructor and political candidate with whom he has been rivals for several years. 

Federal authorities on Tuesday dropped all charges against Curtis and spent several hours searching Dustschke’s house in Tupelo, Mississippi.” Source: Daily Mail
