2700 DHS Assault Vehicles and…2700 More?…And Ammo?…And Trucks With Gun Turrets? And…

Is this the only train loaded like the one you see in the first video below? See two more following, one mid 2012, one early 2011. Thanks to friend and Master Sculptor David Lemon. When you need a minute away from politics to rest your mind and spirit, visit David.

DHS Assault Vehicle

DHS Assault Vehicle – March 5, 2013 (click pic for more)

Look what we found [1st video below] out in the middle of the desert between Hackberry and Peach Springs, AZ

Remember those Civilian Assault Vehicles FEMA ordered to keep order among American Citizens… they ordered 2700 of them according to official reports.

Is this part of the original 2700 or is this a few hundred more? (Facebook Dated March 18, 2013)

The train goes on and on and on and on (if the video(s) doesn’t play or disappears click here.

Arizona

Then there’s this allegedly from Burbank, California (language alert) (posted August 7, 2012)

Tanks – Burbank (not sure which Burbank)

Tanks moving (allegedly) through east Texas (March 8, 2011)

Tanks – East Texas

I don’t know what to think about this. What do you think? Note that although one of the dates is March 2013, I’m not sure about any of them.

  • What have I been saying for almost 10 years now? THIS IS IT.

    • Snooper, I did find some dates. The first one isn’t on YouTube and it’s dated Mar. 18, 2013, the second one is August 2012 and the third Mar 2011, I think.

All I can say is, I hope you’re wrong.

      • I hope I am as well…BUT…it doesn’t look good, does it?

  • Most was material leaves for Iraq or Afghanistan from California areas. Why are all these headed east?

    • Range Designer

Much shipping from the Gulf and east coasts as well. JAX Fl has been a major shipping port for the middle east.

  • Range Designer

How do you think the Army and USMC moves their equipment around? These could be for a unit being deployed or coming back from overseas and on the way to rebuild facilities but they look on the new side. Fort Hood is in East Texas and I have seen those M113 APC at Hood. In the Arizona desert? Try Fort Bliss – they have those units there. At Burbank, looks like USMC landing craft. Camp Pendleton?

    • Range Designer, could be but in the first video, note that many of them are like the vehicle in the picture I posted, which says police and doesn’t indicate military in any way. I don’t know what it was or is.

      • Range Designer

Granted what your first photo shows. In the first video, it is impossible to see any lettering on the vehicles. What I see are MRAPs and HMMVs and some medium duty trucks. Most vehicles deployed to the Middle East are tan. Most SWAT-type vehicles are black.

  • What official reports? From who?

    • Stacie S-H, I believe the “official reports” are from the government purchase orders (acquisition – bids, etc) that have been posted on government websites. DHS does place bid requests and many have reported and linked them for months now – actually for years. DHS is not shy about telling us what they buy, but they are not quick to tell us why.

  • zymurgea

What about Snoopes (http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/ssabullets.asp) claiming it is a mixture of truth and false – that bullets were purchased but not vehicles?

    • Range Designer

Vehicles were transferred from the military to DHS and refitted or rebuilt.

      • Range Designer, all of them? There were no requisitions? Did you find documentation?

I’m adding some info from a reply I left below:

Think about this: The DHS is not the Pentagon. They are a civilian entitiy. They do not order for the military.Forbes is saying DHS has taken “acquisition” of heavily armored personnel carriers.” DHS = Civilian. Then Forbes says this:

[T]he Department of Homeland Security is apparently taking delivery (apparently through the Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico VA, via the manufacturer – Navistar Defense LLC) of an undetermined number of the recently retrofitted 2,717 ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ MaxxPro MRAP vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.”

These MRAP’s ARE BEING SEEN ON U.S. STREETS all across America by verified observers with photos, videos, and descriptions.”

Regardless of the exact number of MRAP’s being delivered to DHS (and evidently some to POLICE via DHS, as has been observed), why would they need such over-the-top vehicles on U.S. streets to withstand IEDs, mine blasts, and 50 caliber hits to bullet-proof glass? In a war zone… yes, definitely. Let’s protect our men and women. On the streets of America… ?”

“They all have gun ports… Gun Ports? In the theater of war, yes. On the streets of America…?

Seriously, why would DHS need such a vehicle on our streets?”

No one knows how many have retrofitted for sure.

The question is, are there bids for any of these? There have been so many bids, I can’t remember, but I’m looking for it.

    • zymurgea, as I said, I don’t know what’s going on but when Snopes says 2700 tanks are not to be used in the U.S., they might be right but they’ve been wrong so many times.
