Last week, Senator Jeff Sessions called for the resignation of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director John Morton, saying there is no way to have “comprehensive immigration reform” with Morton at the top. About a year ago, 7000 ICE agents had a vote of ‘no confidence’ in Morton citing his demands that unreasonable “prosecutorial discretion” apply to those being arrested, held and/or deported. The former Chief of Deportation under the Bush administration will testify tomorrow (Tuesday, January 6th) that current policy would allow allow other jihadists like those of the September 11 2001 attacks stay in the United States. And the current Union Chief representing ICE agents agrees. This is the most important issue of our time, other than the overall issue of a government gone rogue (the video below is a press with ICE backing up the claims of Sessions and ICE):
And the current chief of the union that represents Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will tell the House Judiciary Committee that ICE agents are now required to wait until most illegal immigrants have three misdemeanor convictions before they can be arrested and put in deportation proceedings.
“Most Americans would be surprised to know that immigration agents are regularly prohibited from enforcing the two most fundamental sections of United States immigration law,” said Chris Crane, president of National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council. “According to ICE policy, in most cases, immigration agents can no longer arrest persons solely for entering the United States illegally.” Source: The Washington Times
A few days ago, a Judge ruled that ten ICE agents have the standing to sue to overturn Morton’s “prosecutorial discretion” directive. Along with the vote of ‘No Confidence,’ 75,000 – that’s SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND, ICE agents petitioned protesting Obama’s illegal alien policies.
The Senate is working on illegal alien legislation that would hand the decision of whether our borders are secure or not to Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano or her successor. Napolitano, a former Arizona governor and a Democrat, has no interest in stopping the millions of prospective and/or illegal Democrat voters from flowing over our borders or finding a path to citizenship that does not endanger the country. There is no “E” in ICE. Thanks to Fox News. See related stories below.
