Illinois loves them some frauds and freaks. Congressman Todd Akin (R-MO) verbally defended the lives of the unborn and lost his bid for the U.S. Senate, although he was a very productive and ethical Congressman running against a corrupt U.S. Senator. Jesse Jackson, Jr. a member of the shameful Congressional Black Caucus, has been fighting depression and bi-polar complications and hasn’t worked in months. Convenient, however, because Jackson, Jr. is in a plea deal with feds for “misuse” of campaign funds. He was re-elected by a large margin to his is Illinois 2nd District anyway, while “in seclusion in the Washington, D.C. home where he allegedly used campaign funds to redecorate. Note the “female friend” and the $40,000 Rolex mentioned below…and his wife.

Sneed [Michael Sneed - Chicago SunTimes] is also told Jackson, who returned to Mayo Clinic after undergoing outpatient treatment in the seclusion of his home in Washington, D.C., is not only being investigated for allegedly using campaign funds to decorate his Washington home — but also Sneed hears he may also have used campaign funds to buy a $40,000 Rolex watch as a gift for a female friend.
An heir apparent to the beneficence and largesse of the Jackson dynasty, Jackson has been immersed in a cloud of federal scrutiny for the past three years.
In late 2008, Jackson, who desired the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Barack Obama when he became president, was also mentioned in connection with the “pay to play†sale of that Senate slot that led to the conviction of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Jackson has always denied involvement and was never charged.
“This has been an ongoing nightmare for the Jackson family, particularly his wife, Ald. Sandi Jackson, and the Reverend [his father, Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr.],†added the source, who is familiar with the campaign funds probe.
Remember married Republican Congressman Chris Lee who sent a shirtless photo of himself to a woman not his wife. He resigned within hours, without charges of misuing campaign funds. The Democrat party knows no shame.
This is Junior’s TENTH term. His wife Sandi is an alderman [represents one of Chicago's 50 districts on the city council] at the Mahalia Jackson Apartments in South Chicago. Another writer for the SunTimes, Mark Brown, was at the Apartment complex, which was a polling place. He couldn’t find many who would defend Jackson publicly. Some suspect that the bi-polar claim is a fake. Others said they voted for Junior because they didn’t know his challengers. What? These people can’t read and do some research? Appalling. I heard from Chicago sources that Jackson isn’t bi-polar but addicted to Meth and Heroin. He can’t kick either.
I feel it is time for strict term limits.
