Monday, our Jobless Labor Day has been designated as National Empty Chair Day, just in time for the Democratic National Convention opening. So, set an empty chair on your lawn, take a photo and get the details of how to send it to Professor Jacobson at Legal Insurrection and he will publish it if it meets his requirements. No photoshops, says the Prof.
One commenter has a sign ready to go with Clint Eastwood’s quote:
“We own this country . . . Politicians are employees of ours . . . And when somebody does not do the job, we’ve got to let them go.” –Clint Eastwood
You have the week to tweet (your photos as well) and use the hashtag #EmptyChairDay (fitting for a jobless labor day). Don’t forget to post your empty chair to Facebook.
I’ll have a photo of my chair up tomorrow morning. I’m thinking of draping an empty suit over it. My readers can feel free to send their photos to me as as well and I will publish them here (at my discretion, of course). My contact info is here. The photo above is courtesy of a Legal Insurrection reader. Love the flag. Wish I had a flag pole. Can’t wait for morning. Thanks to Breitbart – read more here, and to my friend and incredible artist David Lemon for the tip.
