I put this in my story yesterday, as sources showed that this al-Qaeda group detonated a bomb outside the Benghazi compound in June but did no damage. No one seemed to pick up on the angle that Obama released the kill of Abu Yahya or Abu Yahaya on September 11th, and I believe I heard that DNA had just confirmed the identity. Now the UK Independent is saying the White House and the State Department had about a 48 hour warning of trouble brewing:

There is growing belief that the attack was in revenge for the killing in a drone strike in Pakistan of Mohammed Hassan Qaed, an al-Qa’ida operative who was, as his nom-de-guerre Abu Yahya al-Libi suggests, from Libya, and timed for the anniversary of the 11 September attacks.
Still Obama and Clinton are stoking the imagery of the anti-Islam film. Always blame Freedom of Speech before you proclaim loudly and clearly “your’re damn right we killed him – your second in command, and we’re coming for the rest of you.” But no, we blame a filmmaker and an over-the-top evangelist who has every right to feel as he does about Islam.

According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and “lockdown”, under which movement is severely restricted.
Not only is Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans dead (and brutally so), but “sensitive” documents are missing which contained the names of Libyans working with Americans, including the “safe house” to which staff evacuated.
