With the loss of astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the Moon and one of the great America heroes who will live on in the memories of all generations to come, Barack Obama honored him in accordance with the Armstrong family’s wishes, in a kinda/sorta way. First, here is a snippet of what the family asked us to do:
“For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink.” Source
So the Obama administration did this (wink wink) (and it isn’t a joke).
