Troopathon 2012 Dedicated to Andrew Breitbart: Send a Care Package Troops – Get Busy!

I am on the Hot Air Steamers Troopathon Team again this year, sponsored by Move America Forward (MAF). The time is short. All donations need to be made by July 12th, and the sooner the better. The dedicated staff at MAF has made this an easy way to support our troops with care packages, and this year, the live-streaming event on July 12th is dedicated to Andrew Breitbart. See the care package selections and options here.

As usual, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, John Bolton, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Coach K, and Liz Cheney are sponsors and will appear on the July 12th event. Congressman Allen West has signed on, and former Arizona Congressman J.D. Hayworth and Dana Loesch, editor of Breitbart’s Big Journalism, will be co-hosting with MAF’s Melanie Morgan. Debbie Lee, a Gold Star Mom is involved. Read about her heroic son, Navy SEAL Mark Allen Lee here.

We don’t hear that much about the troops serving in combat zones today, but they are still there, and there are still casualties and serious injuries happening everyday. In the past, during the heat of our summers, we often thought about what our troops were dealing with in some of the most God-forsaken deserts on the planet. Today, we don’t think about it much. It’s time we do, and time to send a care package.

There are teams of bloggers working to make Troopathon 2012 a success. Bloggers receive nothing for participating but the satisfaction of believing we have made a Soldier, Sailor, Guard and Reserve member, Air Force or Marine’s day a little better, but it is a competition, so please consider using this link so that my team is credited with your care package.

Please donate through Hot Air Steamers to Troopathon 2012

When I have the list of participating bloggers on Hot Air Steamers (and other teams) I’ll post them. For now, Karen at The Lonely Conservative is back, along with Monoblogue who participates for the first time. More to come. Get Busy!
