Two of the 14 wounded are in serious condition. One man is in custody and two more sought, all three believed to be a member of Phoenix gangs. The man in custody is charged with 13 counts of aggravated assault and one count of assisting a criminal street gang. Rapper Nipsey Hussle was scheduled to perform but was not on the premises at the time. While reports vary, this one says 300 people were in line outside in a strip center when the shooting began.
Tempe police had reports that concertgoers got inside the club Friday after refusing weapons patdowns, Lt. Mike Horn said.
They also had reports that a third party may possibly have leased the premises and borrowed the liquor permit for the night, practices police have urged the club’s owners to correct. Source: AZ Central
