The New Black Panther Party has issued a bounty with thousands of dollars (calling for $1M) in reward money for anyone capturing George Zimmerman, the man who allegedly pulled the trigger in Trayvon Martin’s death. In fact, they put out a poster wanting Zimmerman “Dead or Alive,” then pulled it from the Internet. To date, Zimmerman has not been arrested or charged in the crime. He is claiming self-defense. Florida Governor Rick Scott and Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi are silent on the bounty. Unimaginable, isn’t it? Silence also from the US Department of Justice and Attorney General Eric Holder. It’s not outside the realm of possibility to assume US Holder is fundraising for the bounty. It is outside the realm of possiblity that this “bounty” go unaddressed by state law enforcement, but that’s what’s happening. J. Christian Adams, a former attorney in the US Department of Justice, says kidnapping in Florida is a felony.

MIKHAIL MUHAMMAD:You kill mine, I got ‘ta kill yours. We are look forward to getting One Million Dollars for the capture of George Zimmerman. We are going to force our government to do their job properly, and if they don’t we will.
J. CHRISTIAN ADAMS: The New Black Panthers think they are above the law. What would have given them that idea? We all know the answer. The answer is Eric Holder. Look, we live in a country where lawless mobs don’t offer bounties on citizens heads, to be captured. We don’t live in that country, but these guys think we do.
You cannot solicit kidnapping in the State of Florida. It’s a felony to travel across inter-state lines to solicit kidnapping. So here we have, once again, the New Black Panthers committing crimes and going unpunished.
These guys, they act with impunity. There’s Jerry Jackson, a NBP in Philadelphia…there’s photos of him on the web with weapons. He’s a felon. He’s not allowed to have weapons. This Justice Department won’t do anything…
You can’t travel across state lines to solicit kidnapping. You can’t travel from Atlanta to Florida. You aren’t allowed to do that. You can’t solicit kidnapping under Florida. Where’s Florida law enforcement? Where’s the Attorney General of Florida? Something needs to be done.
