Forbes: The End of Limbaugh As We Knew Him (Really?) – The Era of Big Rush Over (Really?) Rush Will End a Lonely Man (Really?)

The Forbes writer speaks of how out-of-touch Rush Limbaugh is, proven by his recent conversation about Sandra Fluke, ignoring the real issue: free contraception for everyone – or as Fluke refers to it “Reproductive Justice.” Along with saying Rush’s influence has faded in the last couple of weeks, he posits that Rush will end as he began, a lonely man shouting to the air. Another Lefty with nothing to say about Bill Maher an/or Obama’s embrace of the filthiest public persona on television.

Rush Limbaugh

The era of big Rush Limbaugh is over…

Instead he is left with a hard core of conservatives. It’s a huge core, of course, but don’t expect it to grow. Already Rush is less influential than he was two weeks ago…

He won’t go away over night. But over time he will fade in power and influence, inexorably, his name immediately leaving a bad taste in people’s mouths. He will end as he began, a lonely man in a radio booth, shouting at the air.

Really? Well, I don’t think so despite the Republican establishment’s lack of support for Limbaugh or anything smacking of true Conservatism. I believe there is more of us than them. If you are one them, find some ideas here.

NiceDeb has an in-depth roundup of Sandra Fluke’s Reproductive Justice conversations here.

UPDATE 2:40 p.m. CDT: WorldNetDaily quoting Rush (read it all here):

“We have three brand-new sponsors that will be starting in the next two weeks,” Limbaugh said this afternoon, adding he was not going to identify them today.

“Two of the sponsors who have canceled have asked to return. We are being very careful about that. I’m not gonna give you any names here. One of them is practically begging to come back.”

  • What a joke eh, anybody with eyes can see the momentum is fully back in Rush’s favor

I like the bit about ‘two national advertisers’ BEGGING to come back

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • I heard Rush’s monologue today on this and it was great. Rush is not going anywhere, but I bet the author of that article will be going bonkers when he sees how wrong he was.

  • Limbaugh’s demise has been predicted before. Didn’t happen.
