Obama Blames Founders: He Can’t Force Congress: Founders Make it Difficult

Three separate and equal branches of government, that’s what our Founders gave us to enable us to keep our republic. They were escaping and denying a Kingship at the time. In this short video Obama is lamenting that he cannot “force” Congress to do his bidding. He isn’t saying it’s not my place to force Congress, he’s is angry that the Constitution forbids him forcing his will on the people: (see the video below)

“I have not been able to force Congress to implement every aspect of” [what I promised to do].

He cannot bring about ‘change’ as quickly as he wants because of the Founders, he said. “Because of the Founders…” which gave him his freedom, which allowed his Father to come here from Kenya on grants provided by the America people, to leave in his wake a son wanting to fundamentally change the country in matters having to do with personal liberty.

It is important to note that much of what Obama has accomplished done during his 3+ years in the White House was done by skirting Congress, and by a Democrat Congress willingly abdicating their obligations to their Congressional oath.

America, what kind of leader works to “force” policy, rather than working with a co-equal government to bring about a vision? We know them as dictators.

He anguishes (yes, you know he does) that he cannot do for his base what he promised to do in the 2008 election, but remember, he is supposedly a Constitutional attorney and has taught the subject. In 2008 he didn’t realize he could not force Congress? Whatever Obama studied in Constitutional law, you can bet he did it to know it, in order to change it.

The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. Consequently, anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall when the proceedings ended in order to learn what had been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately. A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”

With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded,

“A republic, if you can keep it.” Source: New American

Can we keep our republic? The only way is to preserve the intent of the Founders in our governing documents – keeping government out of our lives. Obama has already said the U.S. Constitution is a deeply flawed document. He fired warning shots years ago. We ignored them. We must cast a vote against Barack Obama in November 2012.

“Being President you learn that you get better as time goes on.” Really? Better Mr. President or just more brazen?

That Obama is a prick of the first order and wants to be KING. I hope he is beaten by the biggest landslide in the History of America. Couldn’t you just see all their faces. . . what a glorious sight. Praise God our father in Christ for that wonderful victory.

It behooves me why we are still debating this issue, when it is clear that Obama has repeatedly violated the Oath of office he took to ‘protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic’, and that he IS its #1 enemy.
If a doctor violates his Hippocratic oath, he would lose his license to practice medicine because an oath is a LEGALLY ENFORCEABLE PROMISE. Why are we debating Obama’s actions against the Constitution, when he continues to trample over it with actions (assigning powers to himself that are assigned to Congress, for example) as well as with words?

    • Maggie on February 9, 2012 at 7:54 am

Mariana, we’ve let all three branches of government stain their oath for so long now I doubt we’ll turn it around fully. Obama took office planning to righteously violate his oath of office. We need a political party with candidates sworn to resurrecting the Constitution as much as possible. Thanks for coming by an commenting.
