More than Newt’s pithy “you can’t put a gun rack in a Volt,” the other issues surrounding the Volt are spot-on. Obama gives every Volt buyer $10,000, which Newt points out is about the amount the average American spends on a second car, while the average Volt owner makes about $175,000 a year. “Let’s be clear what this election is all about.
