And Replaces It With ‘Miracle’!

The Air Force was pressured by Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers to remove any reference to G-d from the Logo of the Rapid Capabilities Office.

A Virginia lawmaker is calling on the Air Force to reverse a decision to remove a Latin reference to “G-d” from a logo after an atheist group complained.

Rep. Randy Forbes, (R-VA), said the Air Force removed the logo several weeks ago from the Rapid Capabilities Office. The patch included a line written in Latin that read, “Doing G-d’s Work with Other People’s Money.”

But after the Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers complained, Forbes said the line was rewritten in Latin to read, “Doing Miracles with Other People’s Money.”

Forbes, along with a bi-partisan group of 35 lawmakers, sent a letter to Air Force Secretary Michael Donley and Air Force Chief of Staff Norton Schwartz expressing concern over the decision to remove a non-religious reference to G-d.

“It is most egregious,” Forbes told Fox News. “The Air Force is taking the tone that you can’t even use the word ‘G-d.’”

Forbes said his office contacted the Air Force and officials there confirmed that the logo had been changed after the atheist group complained.

A spokesman for the Air Force told Fox News they had received the letter and would investigate the claims.

Forbes said the removal of “G-d” is a “bridge too far in terms of the rights of men and women who serve in our services and their ability to express their faith.”

“But the significance of this is what the Air Force is saying with this move – that the word ‘G-d’ – whether it has any reference to faith or not, can’t be used in the Air Force,” Forbes said.

He said the incident is one of several in recent months that have caused him to wonder if the military is cleansing itself of religious references.

“It’s a very dangerous course to take,” he said.

“I am concerned that the RCO capitulated to pressure from an outside group that consistently seeks to remove references to G-d and faith in our military,” he said. ‘The RCO’s action to modify the logo sets a dangerous precedent that all references to G-d, regardless of context, must be removed from the military.”

Get rid of ‘G-d’ and replace it with ‘Miracle’.  The word ‘Miracle’ has the following meaning:

1. an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

2. such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of G-d.

The Air Force did one better to the Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers, they just replaced the word G-d with an act of G-d.  The meaning is the same.  And they have the last laugh on those who would impose Political Correctness on them.

Well, pointing guns and dropping bombs on brown people demanding they become democracies, a philosophy our founding fathers saw great weakness in, isn’t exactly Godly. I can’t say I am as offended as I once was. America claims to the the world’s moral authority, and yet morality continues to decline on all levels in American society.

Hi BB, the flaw isn’t dropping bombs on them after they attack us. The flaw is that we didn’t wipe them out and then return home immediately. The flaw is that we thought we could give a better life to millions, because millions were suffering. Islam does that to a person. The flaw is that we didn’t fully understand that Islam will never let women and children be free, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The flaw is that we didn’t understand that they NEVER intend for us to be free.

We should stop all aid, stop all immigration and let the people live under the Koran, but when they kill an American ‘infidel’ we should kill thousands in return.

In the Bible.. King Saul was commanded to kill all the Amalekites, every man, woman, baby, child, livestock, and dog. Not a living thing was to be left alive. Saul spared the lives of the king of the Amalekites, and his best livestock, and when the Prophet Samuel found out that Saul had not killed them all, he became angry and launched into a long and bitter diatribe about how God regretted making Saul king, because Saul was disobedient. When Samuel turned away, Saul grabbed Samuel by his clothes and tore a small piece off them, which Samuel states is a prophecy about what will happen to Saul’s kingdom.
Seems to me, offending God, and eliminating his name from our symbols, could be something we should think twice about. Now, having the word God, on a symbol, isn’t promoting a certain religion. All religions believe in God. A small minority, and I do mean a minority, now wants us to reject all things dealing with God? Maybe what happened to King Saul would be minor compared to what will happen to this country, if we bend to those who believe in nothing. What if our Founding Fathers had been so weak kneed, to have bent to non-believers, and left God out of everything.
I believe to my bones, we’d still be under British Rule.
As for me, I leave the name of the one, who has been the foundation of this country from it’s beginning, in place and I’d summarily reject those who believe in nothing. If we reject our founding principles, then we become a nation no more. United in nothing and believing in nothing, we will fall into the dark pit of nothingness.

I find it ironic that sour atheists who scald everyone who doesn’t think just like they do and scream for every last reference to God to be stricken from out lives would call themselves “freethinkers.”

If our military is pressured by a little group of athiest twits, how can it stand up to the Islamists? Oh, that’s right they don’t! They burn Bibles so as not to offend them and pull crosses off of their chapels as not to offend them.

This kind of thing is just getting us ready for the Antichrist’s one world religion, he’s preparing the uniforms now.
