    Thanks Maggie.
I miss the days of my Palin/Cain dreams.
    How about a Santorum/Gingrich ticket?

    • Like all the above, but Newt would never be Veep. Santorum would. Then there’ Allen West.

      • Did you see the Florida GOP is redistricting Allen West out of his seat?

The retaliation is being led by Romney’s Florida campaign spokesman… isn’t that special

  • Even though my hope was Cain For President, it is now my hope that the ticket will be Gingrich / Cain!

    • Yes! Allegations will be forgotten with that ticket. Still, I wish it could be a Paul/Cain ticket.

      • kellsbells, I admire much about Paul, but the whole about 9/11 is too much for me.

        • Paul has lost it on 9/11 – I agree woth Maggie – he’s rather goofy. Now listen as I said to Pam Bondie about Romney care, etc. She has it right, I think. I hope, could be wrong as I have been wrong before which I know shocks all of you. LOL hahaha
However, I was not wrong about Obama from the get-go as Maggie will tell you, he is a counterfeit and so is his BC.
BTW Bin Laden had long since been killed, that all was a lie as well, Obama had NOTHING to do with it! How tragic our Navy Seals were duped into such a dirty deal as that.

Hey, West took it to Florida Liberals yesterday: “This is a battlefield that we must stand upon. And we need to let President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and my dear friend, chairman of the Democrat National Committee, we need to let them know that Florida ain’t on the table.

Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.

    I hope he sticks around.

    • Ran, West is such a fine man. I hope we will have him in the Senate soon. The establishment will never let him near the White House.

  • Sorry, but Cain is the kiss of death for Newt since both have had bad publicity with other women. Whether it’s true or not – it’s not good. . .
either way you slice the pie. BTW Paul/Cain ticket – no way!
Get real plz and stop dreaming. Romney is the one to beat Obama, like it or not! Pam Bondie, FL attorney general on Fox really explained Romney care and endorses Romney. FYI it’s nothing like Obamacare and Romney gives the decision over to the states.

Trump would make a great VP and have him really amount to something. In other words have a real job. The VP usually doesn’t have a job of any importance. Biden has been a pathetic bad joke. I don’t think Trump wants any of it and who could blame him. Allen West would make a good VP or Marco Rubio.

    • ljcarolyne, I am so surprised that you support Romney (not that I won’t if he is the candidate). You just don’t seem like a Romney supporter to me.

      • Romney is a smart business man and doesn’t get bent out of shape but seems to think ahead. He said his religion will not get in his way of being President. Romney will take a stand against the corrupt foolishness we have had in the Obama administration in allowing Muslims, no less, dominate in putting down American values.
That evil must stop in our country. We are Americans not Muslims!! Just for the record, other than Trump, Romney is the best we have to beat Obama. IMO That is what I am most & only looking for.
I wanted Romney to win last time but guess what, we ended up losing.
I’m not a Mormon nor ever would be, but sure as Hell believe a Muslim is the worst scum and curse on the face of the earth.
Don’t ever forget Obama’s words: He said: “The sweetest sound on earth is the Muslim call to prayer at sunset.” What a disgrace on America to have this pathetic evil Muslim in the WH.

Maggie. I’ve been doing much research on all of the candidates and I’m happily surprised by Sen Rick Santorum. Please take a look at his website (http://www.ricksantorum.com/index.php) and see if you agree that he, by far, represents conservatism and the Constitution’s fundamental principles better than all of the rest who are still in the running. He also does not have any of the baggage that the other Republicans have that are causing such a distraction away from the issues facing America. I hope you will do some research as well on Sen Santorum and if you agree on this you will be able to bring some attention to him.
Best Regards and thanks for all of the great posts.

    • David, Rick Santorum has been my favorite since this began. I’ve always had high regard for him. My usual line is he is the ‘real deal.’ I have been on a live blogger conference call with him. I’m always impressed by him, and I know he is a true conservative in the way we mean it today. I do fear that Independents will not support him.

Here are a few you may have missed (and there are others – including the live debate blogs where I have always loved Rick’s answer with the exception of one of them):

      Rick Santorum: Blogger Phone Conference

Rick Santorum Grilled by David Gregory: Santorum Flips Him

Rick Santorum Staying Out of Poverty

      Rick Santorum: Core of America

Believe me, I’ve had prayers about a Santorum victory.

Thanks for the extra info on Santorum.
Every single republican candidate in the past that has kowtowed to the independents has failed to either get the nomination or win the election. On the other hand, however, and especially in this election cycle, I believe the independents will follow the strength and recognize real leadership when it’s offered to them.
We all know the GOP as well as the DNC want Romney badly and we also know that there is a small chance if any that he’ll beat Obama in ’12. One large reason a Romney nomination will be so disastrous is simply due to the “disenfranchisement” of the Republican base, all conservatives and most independents. Obama will likely win by hook, crook or default against Romney.
Definitely at this point in the game Santorum is leagues ahead of anyone else in terms of ideology. Unfortunately for us, ideologies don’t usually win the day in America anymore. Money drives everything in these elections and so it’s no wonder why people like Soros, Buffet and even Gates are in the works to nominate our nominee for us, as the benefactors of the State run media.
I’ve said my prayers as well. Get the word out, say our prayers, vote and hope for the best is about the only thing we can do.
For myself I will admit if it’s a Romney nomination I know I will disengage from the whole thing, win or lose, because Romney may not be Obama but he’s not a win for us either.
I’m glad you like Santorum as much as I do. I’m sure more people would be equally impressed if he got more publicity. By the way let’s also pray for his daughter, that she has a speedy recovery. Sen Santorum needs to remain fully engaged to have any chance against the establishment and the regime.
