Elena Kagan Supreme Court: Supreme Court Refuses Debate on Kagan Ineligibility

The Supreme Court of the U.S. (SCOTUS) refused to consider debating Justice Elena Kagan’s eligibility to participate in the coming SCOTUS review of ObamaCare. There was no reasoning given behind the decision, but the court did note that Kagan was not a part of the Court’s discussion.

Elena Kagan

Kagan was Obama’s Solicitor General during the time ObamaCare was being fought for in the House and Senate. So much so that calls have come from Republicans that she recuse herself from the proceedings. Her emails have shown she was an enthusiastic cheerleader for it.

  • This doesn’t surprise me. I think to them they see it as others meddling into their affairs and/or questioning the honesty and integrity of the jurists. To me it isn’t that big of a deal. It really is going to come down to how Kennedy votes. They surprise us sometimes, but I think this will be a vote along party lines and Kennedy can swing either way.

    • just a conservative girl, what is surprising is that Kagan is on the court in the first place, after she took down Nebraska’s abortion law by fraud.

      • Quite honestly, she was the best of the bunch that was on the short list. To me this is the main reason why Obama must be defeated. Quite a few of them are getting up there in age. Scalia is in his 70’s or 80’s. I am sure that he is thinking about retiring at this point in his life. But it will be hard for him to even think about while Obama is in office.

  • just a conservative girl

Kagan cannot pervert justice, Newt is there to stop her!

  • just a conservative girl

    g-d bless Newt Y’all

We must not forget those RHINOS that confirmed Kagan and Sotomayor for their Justice jobs. And they were given kind and patronizing testimony.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Richard Lugar of Indiana, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine, and Judd Gregg of New Hampshire confirmed Kagan.

The nine Senate Republicans who voted to confirm Sotomayor her were Sens. George Voinovich of Ohio, Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, Kit Bond of Missouri, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Susan Collins of Maine, Olympia Snowe of Maine, Mel Martinez of Florida, Richard Lugar of Indiana and Lamar Alexander of Tennessee.
Lindsey Graham slobbered all over Sotomayor in giving her praise. He made me puke on the Television.

    • JAQUEBAUER, (love your handle:-) Thanks for listing the names here. I’ll be doing the same and will definitely keep pounding on Kagan and her egregious connections to Nebraska’s abortion laws. We put a woman on the court who blatantly changed the wording of a panel of physicians, and the change was in complete opposition to what was actually said. Same thing happened in the Gulf moratorium with Salazar and Obama changing the intent of the panel of experts, brought in by Obama, on the Gulf situation.
