OWS Zucotti Park Emptied: Eviction Court Hearing Today Video

One thousand riot-gear-clad New York police handed out eviction letters at 1 am this morning to allow a cleaning of Zuccotti. Bloomberg’s letter said occupiers can return but there will be no tents, sleeping bags, tarps or “similar materials.”

Bloomberg’s comments came shortly after the release of a New York state Supreme Court document that prohibits the City of New York from preventing the demonstrators re-entering the park.

The cops were followed by sanitation workers, one of whom was overheard saying, “We’re gonna disinfect the hell out of this place.” Source Fox News

In the first video below, Mayor Bloomberg explains the Park’s concerns. “First Amendment right” is the mantra. In the second video you’ll hear that protestors jumped the fence at Zucotti.

  • It took them long enough. Given the liberal (Moonbat) lean of the courts in NYC, the tents, drums and noise will be back in force protected by a court order.

  • Rules? Shoot. This Flea Party don’t obey no steenking rules.
