This morning we heard that one of the two original women accusing Herman Cain of sexual harassment wanted to come forward. Tonight the New York Times Caucus Blog quotes her attorney, Joel P. Bennett saying she will not speak publicly as she doesn’t want to become ‘another Anita Hill.’ However, Bennett is asking the National Restaurant Association to release his unnamed client from the confidentiality agreement so he can speak on her behalf. “Everything” he says, will go through him, not his client. Sweet deal for her if it works. She gets to air her complaints through a second party and keep the hush money as well. That was at 5:09 pm EDT on 11-2-11. We’ll see what happens tomorrow.
