FBI Blackmailed by Muslim Public Affairs Council: Islam Gone From Terrorist Training Manuals

The Obama administration is pulling all terrorist training and law enforcement manuals referring to the word “Islam.” Over a year ago, the administration banned the words “Islamic extremism” from National Security documents. That wasn’t enough. An op-ed in the Los Angeles Times this week, written by the head of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) decried the “faulty” training and promised to break off all cooperation with the FBI and threatening to no longer “be on the same team.” MPAC shares a warm and fuzzy relationship with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) – a great danger to the U.S., planting interns into Congressional offices, and enjoying every freedom to walk the halls of Congress. This latest assault on protecting the homeland will not make America safer, but it will make Muslims smirkier and more obnoxious, if possible. Please take a minute to listen to the short video discussion below with former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., John Bolton, who says this latest debacle is dangerous “thought control.

Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch, April 7, 2010:

…this “larger effort…to change not just how the United States talks to Muslim nations, but also what it talks to them about, from health care and science to business startups and education” reflects Obama’s core assumption that the jihad against the United States is our fault, and can be quelled by our overtures of good will to the Islamic world.

This is based on the further assumption that there is no Islamic imperative to jihad against unbelievers simply because they are unbelievers.

Deputy Attorney General James M. Cole:

“I recently directed all components of the Department of Justice to re-evaluate their training efforts in a range of areas, from community outreach to national security,” Cole told a panel at the George Washington University law school…

Ironic that Cole speaks of the freedom to communicate with each about “right and wrong,” but we cannot communicate who is responsible for the heightened security in American and elsewhere in the world. Cole quotes some peaceful verses from the Koran and ignores those that are known to bring forth the hatred of those not sharing the Islamic faith.

The freedom to communicate with each other about right and wrong, and our most firmly held beliefs – regardless of the faith we practice or whether we observe any religion at all – is one of our most precious and constructive national treasures.

Military training manuals are not mentioned, which doesn’t mean they are also not being reworked. There have to be times in the reference to Islam in these texts, when no word other than Islam makes sense. I wonder what will be the substitute? Maybe: “White, Christian Tea Party members,” since stating the facts is not essential.

Who are those making these decisions, and how steeped are they into the actual training of those who must protect us?

Taxpayers will now pay the hefty bill to have these manuals reprinted. A Republican administration would be unlikely to make this call (although, who knows). To be accurate, will a Republican call for Islam to be inserted back into the text? Read the blackmailing L.A. Times op-ed by Salam Al-Marayati here.

So what are we going to call them? Community re-Organizers? That seems to be their goal.

    • ExAFCrewDot: Maybe Community Destructors is more accurate???
