Obama Shelves EPA Regulation

Nothing political about this, says Obama who never met an EPA regulation he didn’t have sweet dreams about. Congressman Eric Cantor announced he would go after ten burdensome government regulations after Congress convened from its August sabbatical. The regulations were identified by Congressional committee chairmen, and considered the “most harmful to the economy.” Obama promptly told the EPA to shelve it’s regulation designed to reduce ground-level ozone, said to be the mother of smog.

The announcement came shortly after a new government report on private sector employment showed that businesses essentially added no new jobs last month — and that the jobless rate remained stuck at a historically high 9.1 percent. Source Yahoo News.

This from Obama’s statement:

“I will continue to stand with the hardworking men and women at the EPA as they strive every day to hold polluters accountable and protect our families from harmful pollution,” he said.

A good start will be holding those responsible for faux global warming claims that have set this Nation on a disastrous path. Focusing particularly on those making huge money from the scam would be justice. Do you notice how we seldom hear about “carbon credits,” or “carbon footprints” these days?

  • Pandering for votes.

Obama knows that he needs more than the liberal and leftist vote to win in 2012.

  • Always on Watch is right… As soon as this administration gets back in office (disaster), They’ll put things right back in place.

  • This is an economically-wise and therefor very un-liberal move. Makes me wonder what he’s really up to…
