My Federal Family? I Don’t Think So: FEMA Your Federal Family?

There is an all out effort to remove the individual from the individual. The word “government” has been so soiled that our appointed bureaucrats are trying to convince us that we are all just one big family. No state, no proper family, no individual. We are just one big ‘federal family.’ Can you imagine if your Republican elected official said your ‘federal family’ will take care of you? He/she wouldn’t be elected again. Here is a bit of what FEMA has been declaring:

Federal Family: Obama, Napolitano and FEMA Administrator, Craig Fugate

“Under the direction of President Obama and Secretary Janet Napolitano, the entire federal family is leaning forward to support our state, tribal and territorial partners along the East Coast,” a FEMA news release declared Friday as Irene churned toward landfall.

We apparently heard it under Bush, as well:

Under President George W. Bush, FEMA officials sprinkled the alliterative euphemism into congressional testimony and statements. When former FEMA Director Michael Brown promised help to hurricane-battered Floridians in 2004, he vowed that “the federal family is dedicated to staying for as long as it takes.”

Gag me. I don’t want no stinkin’ federal family! I want an efficient government, which I helped elect, which respects the U.S. Constitution and executes the proper use of power, and exercises the right of impeachment when bureaucrats start making unconstitutional laws.

  • We’re at the tail end of a program set into motion over 100 years ago. Everything Carrol Quigley said has borne out. What we’ve got here is a modern day financial and governmental Tower of Babel.

Can we get a divorce from the federal family? Let me guess, they’re the daddy and we’re the little children.
