Tiger Woods Byron Bell: New Caddie is Boyhood Friend – Girlfriend Cover for Tiger

Tiger Woods returns to the links next week at the Bridgestone Invitational after 11 weeks off due to a leg injury. The big news is that after firing his longtime caddie, Steve Williams, Woods will have childhood friend Byron Bell on his bag. Bell infamously covered for the very married Tiger, as the the randy Woods hooked up with one woman after the other. Bell caddied for Tiger long before Steve Williams. I will have continuing updates as available.

Byron Bell and Tiger Woods

From my previous post December 4, 2009:

Bell allegedly purchased a plane ticket for Uchitel to fly to Australia in mid-November to be with Tiger as he played in the Australian Masters – and won. Bell booked rooms for himself and Tiger’s paramour at Melbourne’s Crown Towers Hotel and flew to Australia with Uchitel.

And in March 19, 2010:

New report out today that Byron Bell may have arranged more than just Tiger’s liasons with Rachel Uchitel – specifically with porn start Joselyn James aka Veronica Swik-Daniels. Updates here.

When Tiger’s life with Elin Nordgren Woods began to unravel over the 2008 Thanksgiving weekend, Byron Bell was getting married and Tiger was to be his best man. Woods bowed out to save Bell and/or himself the media embarrassment.

Tiger has dropped from No. 1 to No. 21 in world rankings. His last win was the Australian Masters in November 2009. The Bridgestone Invitational is August 3 – 7, 2011 at Firestone Country Club, Akron, Ohio. The PGA Championship will be August 11-14, 2011 at Atlanta’s Athletic Club, Johns Creek, Georgia.
