Roll Call said the Congressman Allen West (R-FL) told Huffington Post that he apologized to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) who is also the DNC chair. Roll Call says HuffPo has a tape of that conversation. If the tape is “real” you can plainly hear West say “I just apologized.” The report, asks, “you just apologized” and West responds “uh huh.” Dang! Don’t miss West’s fundraising letter below and the Top 10 Outrageous Debbie Wasserman Schultz Quotes.
Wasserman Schultz aides said there had been no apology, and West’s office adamantly denied the report and demanded a retraction.
The Roll Call article goes on to says this:
…a group of female lawmakers preparing to hold a news conference to condemn him. The Members planned to call on the leadership of both parties to rebuke West. In response to the question, West reiterated that he had apologized before walking into the House chamber.
Democrats want an apology and West’s spokeswoman says the apology is owed to West.
A Slate article says Wasserman Schultz (she of the fried hair) called West a “sexist” in 2010, and then she addressed him by name from the floor of the House. When she did so, she chided him (although he was absent) for supporting Cut, Cap and Balance and basically said he was among those nasty Republicans who would rob seniors of their health and wealth.
She did not mention that Obama gutted Medicare of $500BILLION dollars in his health care bill, and yes, we know now with “certitude” that there are Death Panels in Obama Care. She did not mention that she knows well, that anyone on Medicare when an entitlement reform bill becomes law will not have their Medicare changed.
I wish West had included those two facts in his email, and then asked her 1) why she and her party will not support a balanced budget amendment. Who can honestly be against a balanced budget amendment, other than those who want their hand in your wallet? There is no other reason, and certainly, no good excuse.
Slate ran an alleged fundraising letter from West (see it at the end of this article), and he mentions that DWS has targeted him as No. 1 for defeat. Is that like Sarah Palin targeting Congresswoman Gabrielle Gifford for defeat? Just asking.
Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL), from the floor of the House said Republican’s Health Care Plan wanted seniors to “die quickly” and equated the deaths to a “contemporary Holocaust.”
The examples of hate-mongering from Democrats can go on and on. Take a look at this list of the Top 10 Outrageous Debbie Wasserman Schultz Quotes, one of which I’ll show here:
5. Belittling to include military: When the House Judiciary Committee considered adding an amendment to include attacks against military veterans to hate crimes legislation, Wasserman Schultz said that would be belittling to gays, blacks and Jews: “I represent one of the largest gay populations in the United States of America. One of the largest Jewish populations in the United States of America. Our region has a very large African-American population. It really is belittling of the respect that we should have for these groups to suggest that members of the armed services have somehow systematically been the victims of hate crimes.”
I don’t believe in hate crimes, and I bet our soldiers don’t either, but…still…isn’t this just a start reminder of who this woman is and how she thinks?
Then there is her comment to The Weekly Standard that those voting to defund Planned Parenthood are “anti-woman.” Ten of her own party voted to defund the organization that performs an abortion every 95 seconds, 365 days a year. When asked if they were anti-woman, she said they were not! Click the link – it’s a clever article.
So, she simply is a vile, Democrat hack and a weasel to boot. We know it’s true because those qualifications are necessary to be the chairman of the Democrat National Committee. If you read my article yesterday, my apologies for repeating a few complaints.

Those three words sum up my feelings about Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee.
By now, you’ve probably heard the story. But I wanted you to hear it from me.
Yesterday, on the floor of the House, I publicly expressed my support for “Cut, Cap, and Balance” — the leading conservative proposal to help us get our spiraling debt and spending under control.
Once I left the floor, Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (DNC Chair) — who it seems does little except act as an attack dog for the “vast left wing conspiracy” — attacked me personally for supporting the legislation.
It’s not a coincidence that she is the Chairwoman of the DNC and that the Democrats are making me target #1 for defeat.
In a discussion of grave importance to this nation’s future, she somehow finds time to try to score political points. And she doesn’t have the guts to do it to my face!
Episodes like these show that her agenda isn’t to improve the lives of Floridians or to stand on principle. She’s an attack dog for the liberal, progressive wing of the Democratic Party — plain and simple.
And it’s times like this that I need friends with me.
Please make a donation of $25 or more at my website right now. And join thousands of other patriotic Americans in standing up against the vicious attack from the Democratic National Party.
Steadfast and Loyal,
Allen B. West LTC(R)
Member of Congress
FYI: West’s district may be redistricted-out. Just one more thing to worry about. I love and admire Representative Allen West.
