Today, Congressman Anthony Weiner is taking “full responsibility for his lewd photo.” Make that photos…exchanged with about six (6) women he met online, in the last three years. Andrew Breitbart of Big Government, promised today to have new photos and emails and chats, brought to him by a “new” woman. It appears Big Government’s column of today, may have prompted Weiner’s press conference. Folks, Breitbart had info from a “new” woman about a week before what Big Government refers to as the “separate, independent event of Friday, May 27, 2011,” meaning the bulging gray undies photo. The second revelation from Breitbart is that Weiner doesn’t only send intimate photographs, he RECEIVES them as well.

A new woman has come forward with what she claims are photographs, chats, and emails with Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY). These appear to undermine severely Rep. Weiner’s explanations that he was the victim of a “prank” or a “hack.”
The detailed new information suggests that the Brooklyn- and Queens-based representative and the young woman in question were involved in an online, consensual relationship involving the mutual exchange of intimate photographs.
Breitbart was in the area of the press conference today and dropped by. While awaiting the Congressman’s statement, the press asked Breitbart to answer questions from the podium. What a circus! Eventually, from the same podium, Weiner apologized to Breitbart with 5 curt words.

Rep. Anthony Weiner called a press conference for 4pm EDT. BigGovernment.com publisher AndrewBreitbart was in New York for previously scheduled meetings and went to the presser as an observer. Rep. Weiner was, unfortunately for him, late for the conference. The press then asked Andrew to go to the podium to take some questions. It was surreal and awesome. According to FoxNews, a Weinerstaff ran through the hotel halls screaming, “Breitbart’s here. Breitbart’s here.”
In old news, Weiner’s wife will be comforted to know that only some of the lewd photos were sent after he married her about a year ago. We don’t know how many “intimate” photos he has RECEIBED since the marriage. Weiner is deeply sorry. He denied. He lied. He accused. He blamed others for keeping him from the important work he does for his constituents.
He will not resign. He says he has done nothing to violate his oath of office, which says he will “support and defend the Constitution….and the United States agains all enemies, foreign and domestic….” Just as sitting-President Bill Clinton did, Congressman Weiner has placed himself in a position to be blackmailed. The U.S. cannot be defended by a horny Congressman exposing himself on Twitter.
Weiner is “ashamed” but not ashamed enough to acknowledge that it is entirely unacceptable for a man given the privilege of sitting in The People’s House, to do what he has done – send lewd photos or receive such photos to anyone.
In the question and answer period after the confession, Weiner said he and his wife will not “split up,” over this, and he will not resign. He hopes those who sent him to Washington will understand. Stacy McCain has more and explains that the word “intimate,” as used in this story, means “creepy” and “gross.”
UPDATE 6-6-11 @ 6:06 pm: Fox is just reporting that one of the photos in Breitbart’s possession is being held to “save Weiner’s family.” Also saying some 200 inappropriate conversations were had, including “phone sex.”
