Former Minnesota governor, Tim Pawlenty, told CNN’s Piers Morgan tonight that he is running for president. A short time later a spokesman said there is still no formal announcement, saying the official announcement will come “later in the spring.”
The Governor said “I’m focused on running for president,” and when asked if he will accept an offer to be the Republican vice presidential nominee, he said:
“I’m not putting my hat in the ring rhetorically or ultimately for vice president. I’m focused on running for president.”
Formal or not, it appears Pawlenty is the first announced candidate. That was an announcement? Right? Source: Reuters
H/T to Master Sculptor, videographer and blogger, David Lemon. Take a look at David’s latest project, Two door handles topped with a crystal ball, each, with a bronzed bust done by Lemon – one an Indian woman, and one a man. He does such fascinating stuff – and does it so magnificently.
