Sarah Palin In Madison Wisconsin Today for Tea Party: Kloppenburg May Call for Recount

Sarah Palin will speak at Americans for Prosperity Wisconsin’s TEA Party today at Madison’s Capitol. The TAX Day TEA Party is an annual event in Madison. Madison is known for huge crowds these days, and Sarah should take it over the top. Facebook has a dedicated page organizing a Union counter-rally, and 1600 have signed-up promising to be there. In other Wisconsin news, incumbent state Supreme Court Judge David Prosser may be challenged by a recount.

Sarah Palin

Big Government, John Nolte:

…former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin will speak at a Tea Party rally in Madison, Wisconsin. Unless you’ve been asleep for the past few months, you know that right now Madison is Ground Zero in the ongoing political battle to take our country back from corrupt public unions and the Democratic politicians corrupted by them. This battle represents the very heart of what the Tea Party is about, where the national spotlight should be, and yet I don’t see a long line of political types heading to my home state to take advantage of that spotlight.

Palin’s going, though, and so is the Wall Street Journal’s John Fund. And this is exactly where we should be going, and not just because this is where the heart of the fight for our country currently is, but also to make very clear to pro-union types that we will not be intimidated by their thuggishness.

Nolte predicted that any violence will be blamed on Palin and yesterday found a blog saying she is to be pelted with “cheese curds.” Look at the ‘hate’ in this (you’ll have to visit Big Government to find the blog Nolte is quoting. One link is enough):

Sarah Palin To Be Pelted With Cheese Curds In Wisconsin Saturday

The Koch Brothers think it’s hilarious when their dumb puppets have to go face huge, angry crowds of political opponents. Remember the movie Trading Places? It’s the same idea: Incredibly rich old white creeps just torture their own lackeys whenever it gets dull oppressing the faceless poor and destroying the Earth to make Dixie Cups and Brawny paper douche towels. So the Koch Brothers are bringing Sarah Palin to Madison, right there at the State Capitol, for an “Americans For Prosperity” rally. Haha the union people and college kids are going to pelt her with a million pounds of Wisconsin’s famous Fried Cheese Turds. Or curds, whatever. Curdle Rain. Poor snowbilly grifter! …

It’s a shame this country has turned into such an evil socialist toilet that midwesterners would stoop so low as to stoop down and get a handful of cheese curds and hurl them at Sarah Palin, the Koch Brothers’ latest human prank on Wisconsin.

We’ve seen the Madison police refuse to stop the Union mob bosses and their minions. They stood by and watched a recall petition be destroyed and did nothing. They allowed unmerciful harassment of Republican lawmakers.

The dual rallies from noon to 2 p.m., are planned for opposite sides of the Capitol. Can you imagine Union thugs staying peacefully on one side of the Capitol? No doubt, that will NOT happen. The TEA Party will be on the King Street side near the East wing and the “Wisconsin Wave (union and their supporters will be on the State Street side, near the West wing.

The “Wisconsin Wave” reportedly organized their rally after hearing that Palin would attend.

“Really, we want to make sure the true grassroots movement, which is the people of Wisconsin and the people who have been occupying the Square for weeks and weeks, have a say and that they don’t get drowned out by the tea party,” said DePula [Wisconsin Wave organizer]

One more thing about Wisconsin: Incumbent State Supreme Court Judge David Prosser was officially announced to have held his SC seat this week, even though JoAnne Kloppenburg claimed victory. Ann Althouse says Prosser’s margin of victory (7,316 votes) is not enough to stop a recount by Kloppenburg. You may remember that an entire town’s vote went uncounted on election night, giving Kloppenburg a tiny lead, until the error (or voter fraud) was discovered. She must file for a recount by 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 20th.

Here’s a prayer for the safety of everyone at the Madison Capitol today, including the police doing the right thing. I’m predicting no Union thug gets close enough to Palin to lob a single Wisconsin curd.

  • Just a small correction request: Prosser is not newly-elected. He is the re-elected incumbent.

    • Brian, thanks! I’ve written about this so many times. My mind must have been wondering.
