Hemet CA Arrests Man for Reading Bible – Impeding Govt-Run, Taxpayer Paid DMV

If you are a busker, you can sing or perform on the street. You can beg on the street. If you are a Union thug(s) in Virginia, you can trod the private property of banking officials, stand on a private home’s front porch, scare the children alone inside the home silly and be protected by the police. In Wisconsin, if you are a Union thug(s) you can tear-up a recall petition collected by Republicans, with police protection – but in Obama’s America you get arrested for reading the Holy Book of Christians across the World.

The scripture read is the lead up to the crucifixion of Christ. His offense: “You’ve been asked to leave and you didn’t.” The officer says you can preach on a street corner, but this is a captive audience.”

What happens when a Paul-Revere-moment happens and a warning cry rings out to a “captive” crowd, anywhere. “Your 401K has been confiscated!” “Obama’s Civilian National Defense Force is coming!” “An Executive Order allows confiscating your guns!” “Michelle has closed all pizza parlors!” The police will not be on your side if you live in California and many other U.S. states.

At the end of the video, the charge against these men is shown as “impeding an open business.” Note that this happened at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) an operation paid for by the taxpayers. I have no idea who these people are, or what they preach at other times, but it appears they are Americans and they pay for the ground they are standing on.

  • Yet the Westboro Baptist Church gets to celebrate their freedom. Ironic isn’t it?

  • Just how exactly were they impeding the business of the DMV? I assume that the city has an ordinance against proselytizing to captive audiences. If they do, I would say that the ordinance is in violation of the constitutionally protected right to freedom of speech.

Bungalow Bill is right. If that was the Wesbroro Baptist crowd, that cop would have stood between them and the crowd to protect them.
