This may be the most dramatic video of the 8.9 (or perhaps 9.1) magnitude earthquake in Japan this week. Miyako is a fishing village, and this footage captures the minute it hits the town. Notice the “black” water, and see waters reach to the window tops, ships falling over a causeway and cars and trucks piling on top of each other. Aftershocks are continuing – 154 greater than magnitude five, twenty-seven greater than magnitude six.
