Egyptian cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi has advised Libyan soldiers to kill Muammar Gaddafi if they have the opportunity. Yusuf is the spiritual “godfather” of the Muslim Brotherhood. The holy man preaches exactly what his holy book preaches.
Al-Qaradawi arrived back in Egypt as Hosni Mubarack was departing. The cleric was banned from Egypt after the assassination of Anwar Sadat. The Muslim Brotherhood was banned inside the Egyptian government. Things are radically different, however, with the ousting of Mubarak. Qaradawi is back. The Muslim Brotherhood is back. Both are “cleansing” the Egyptian constitution.
If you remember Google marketing exec, Wael Ghonim who got in the middle of the frey in Egypt, was detained then released, and later revealed to be the driving force behind the Facebook campaign that got the Egyptian uprisings under way – then you’ll want to know that at a rally in Tahrir Square on February 18th, Qaradawi refused to let the anti-government protest leader take the stage. So much for Democracy in Egypt. Little has been heard from Ghonim since. Sources: AllVoices and The Guardian and JihadWatch – Qaradawi: Kill Gaddafi
