Wael Ghonim is a Google marketing exec. He was in Cairo, and tweeting about the protests when all communication from him went dark. He spoke with his wife and brother on Friday, and then disappeared sometime over the weekend.

Mr. Ghonim is a native of Cairo and was in the country for a conference. Updates today in this article say his friends fear he may have been arrested. There are photos of a man being detained by police, at first thought to be Ghonim, but apparently not.
The report says “hundreds” have gone missing during the protests, but “none as high-profile as Wael Ghonim.
