Nadin Khoury Bullied, Kicked, Hanged Video Upper Darby School Thugs Attack

Nadin Khoury is a 13-year old student at Upper Derby High School in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He says he has been bullied since beginning classes at the school, and seven teen agers took it to the next step on January 11th. He was beaten, pulled through the snow by his legs, kicked, tossed into a tree (more than once) and finally hung by his jacket on what appears to be a wrought iron, spiked fence. Michael Chitwood, the police superintendent for Upper Darby Township said the attack “was a wolf pack.”

The bullies, ranging in age from 13 to 17, are all in custody, and were removed from school in handcuffs to send a message that the community is not going to put up them. Indeed. Look at the charges they face: “kidnapping, aggravated assault, criminal restraint, terroristic threats, reckless endangering of another person and conspiracy.”

The beating reportedly occurred at an apartment complex, and police said at least one person walked by and did nothing, despite the boy’s calls for help. “No one called 911,” police Capt. George Rhoades told WPVI.

“I’ve been a cop for 47 years,” Chitwood said. “The criminal element out there is more brazen than it’s ever been. The world of technology has empowered them, and I don’t say that in a positive way.”

Nadin, who came to the U.S. from Liberia with his mother in 2000, believes the arrest will not stop these boys from finding other victims. He said they “picked on students who were smaller than them.” Two the boys arrested have previous criminal records, a 14-year-old has two previous assault charges.

The first video below says the attack went on for more than 20 minutes, and a very well-spoken Nadin Khoury talks about the attack. Our children should not have to suffer these abominable wild kids with hearts as black a cave and as hard as the stone on the walls. An unnamed woman passing by in her car stopped and chased the thugs off, according to this report. Other reports says a women walked him home.

A television report this morning said the school has told Nadin not to come to school because they cannot protect him. Where are the grown-ups in Delaware County, Pennsylvania? The report linked above says he has not been back to school because he and his family have received threats – and someone is saying they will likely have to move to another town. Young Nadin believes he is targeted because he is from Liberia.
