Trent Humphries Eric Fuller: Tucson Shooting Victim Threatens TEA Party LeaderTrent Humphries With Death

Trent Humphries, the leader of the Tucson TEA Party was threatened, reportedly by Eric Fuller, a wounded victim of the Tucson shootings. Fuller was arrested, but obviously his threat will not be taken seriously, as Fuller is the “victim,” – the victim who allegedly shouted “Humphries, you’re dead!” The ABC producer is unsure whether the episode will be aired tomorrow. My guess, it will never be seen unless a citizen taped the incident and releases it. See a video below.

Trent Humphries, Tucson TEA Party

Of all  people, Christiane Amanpour was the host of this ABC get-together to discuss the Jared Loughner Republican shootings. Humphries, who has told police he has been receiving death threats for a week or so, was scheduled to speak, and did so. Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit had this conversation with Arizona State Representative, Terri Proud (R), who was at the even as a speaker: (snippet)

…Trent then told everyone that one of those killed during the shooting was his neighbor and that he was affected like everyone else by the tragedy…While Trent was speaking- And it was planned that he would speak- One member in the audience and reportedly one of the victims of the tragedy started screaming, “Trent Humphries you’re dead!” The police immediately escorted him out. On his way out he screamed, “You’re all whores.”

Eric Fuller - Tucson Shooting Victim

I was hoping the culprit was misidentified as Eric Fuller, but apparently, that is not the case. From Gateway Pundit:

UPDATE….. The unhinged leftist J. Eric Fuller was charged with with threats and intimidation and he also will be charged with disorderly conduct.

Fuller made news yesterday when he told DemocracyNow that Sarah Palin, Sharron Angle, Glenn Beck, and John Boehner, were responsible for Jared Loughner’s actions. Shameful – tried to give him some benefit of the doubt yesterday. Today, no. If this report is true, Eric Fuller is shameful.

Note in the video below, Fuller has the story of the shooting partially wrong. He says a woman came over to Loughner and knocked the other magazine clip out of his hands, then men came along and took the shooter to the ground. I mention this only because he apparently isn’t reading the reports about heroine Patricia Maisch, who agrees with Fuller that Palin, Angle and Beck are at fault, but corrected the record about the day of the shooting. Maisch said she fell to the ground and Loughner ended up next to her after two men attacked him. Loughner pulled the magazine clip from his pocket. Maish reached for it, and as she said “I got it.”

Fuller also besmirches Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ political opponent in the last election, Jessie Kelly, and characterizes him as a “fake candidate,” and with an inappropriate fascination with guns (my words). Updates as available. Gateway Pundit asks that we keep Trent Humphries and his family in our prayers. Tucson Tea Party

Eric Fuller Blames Republicans for Jared Loughner’s Murders (video)

  • I’m convinced that the entire left in this country is as mentally unbalanced as Jared Loughner, Fuller just helps to confirm it. Moonbattery has some interesting commentary about this too:

  • I note that the mainstream media is barely mentioning Eric Fuller. It cannot be clearer that the mainstream media shills for the left.

  • Not Right

You are both crazy. You try facing death and barely a week later you’re sure to still be traumatized and suffering from PTSD

    • Not Right…and…why would his anger be directed toward a Tea Party member? What does that have to do with the shooting or PTSD.

You’ve said you do not live by labels. So answer my question please. Hmmmm: white.male.conservative serial killers. No labels?

  • d1337

No…Eric Fuller is crazy. As progressive liberals often do you are making an excuse for his behavior/

  • Not Right

Am I liberal or progressive? NO! I don’t live by label, only common sense, unlike you. You obviously never even took a psychology course, if you even went to college, that is. Trust me, you can’t outsmart me. Do you make excuses for the predominantly white male conservative serial killers? It was conservative white males shooting innocent Arab-AMERICANS after 9/11, and driving around with nooses on their trucks. I got more if you want to batter me. The difference…they weren’t shot a week earlier.

  • Right

    Dear Incorrect,

You obviously DID take a psychology course, and recognized yourself in every line of the text.It truly must be awful to be so ashamed of being a “white male.”

You’ll never get over it, either. Trust me.

  • Mark De Monbrun

It has been reported that Fuller is a Viet Nam Vet, and it has been reported that he has a “non-physical” disabillity….Mental?

While I do not excuse his death threat, having been shot a few days prior along with a possible history of mental illness must certainly be considered prior to passing judgement

  • Rob

Slight correction – it has been reported that Fuller is a VET, though not necessarily of the Vietnam era. His profile at states:

“Began life as a computer operator [so why did he join the Army?,] military service leading to non-physical disability [i.e. peacetime Section 8,] unable to resume career, left main stream and lived in small towns for a decade studying library books and piano, moved into Tucson in 1994 and worked as a Chauffeur for most of 10 years, presented state-wide initiatives at libraries, worked elections, in ’09 worked at the Census Bureau as a field rep and a clerk. Non drinker for one year, non smoker for 40 years.”

Or in other words, a life-long marginal character.

Note that unless there is an unremarked 15-20 year gap in there somewhere, Fuller was in and out of the service in the ’80s – an altogether different proposition than Nam. Characterization of Fuller as a “Disabled Veteran” is just further Leftie smokeandmirrors designed to obfuscate the facts of the situation.
