Jared Loughner Wanted to Be a Woman: Loved to Hunt Children

I know. Enough about Jared Loughner. But this is something I reported early-on when the information was so voluminous there was no way to absorb it. So, one more time for the record. MyFoxNewYork printed comments they found on Loughner’s Facebook page. I have screen grabs of the text (not the FB page) below from MyFox. FreeRepublic had a video posted, allegedly showing the page. It is now down. Some on the FreeRepublic thread (now closed) said Loughner did not have a Facebook page – but MyFoxNewYork quotes it. Another commenter says the Facebook page was taken down and changed, then put back up. Slate has the same quote I have but attributes it to Loughner’s MySpace page: The following from MyFoxNewYork:

Jared Loughner

Under “About Jared” on Facebook, Loughner wrote: “Love hunting trolls and children, I want to be a woman one day… Most people just don’t seem to understand me, but I’m gonna prove to you all how wrong you are… My favorite interest was reading, and I studied grammar. Conscience dreams were a great study in college.”

FreeRepublic has a posting by SuperPartymonkey, who links a video of the ORIGINAL Facebook page before it was pulled down, and SuperPartymonkey says it was changed. The video has been pulled. A FreeRepublic commenter said this:

This guy jumped onto Facebook as soon as he heard about the shootings. He says he knew he needed to save it but could not save it on his computer so he video recorded it.

Guess whose smiling mug is prominently displayed . . . That’s right, folks, The Teleprompter-in-Chief.

Another FreeRepublic commenter says Loughner did not have a Facebook page and the video (that is no longer there) is “totally fake.”

But MyFoxNewYork quotes Loughner’s Facebook page and says this about what happened to those pages:

Loughner’s pages on social networking websites Facebook and MySpace were taken down Saturday, but archived versions were viewable online. On his MySpace page, his photo gallery contained an image of a handgun resting on a US history textbook.

In a MySpace bulletin titled “Goodbye friends” and posted early Saturday, he wrote, “Dear friends….please don’t be mad at me. The literacy rate is below 5%. I haven’t talked to one person who is literate….”

I’m not techy and do not know a lot about resizing images, etc., but here are two screen grabs, taken to document what Laughner said. The “woman” and “children” comment is at the end of the second grab.(Sorry – had to remove them until I find a way to resize)

If these comments, especially the one saying he likes to “hunt trolls and children” were there for everyone to see, surely there was some concern. What did his friends think about “hunting children,” and how many friends did this lonely, friendless person have on Facebook and MySpace?
