Eric Bolling: Lightbulbs

Lightbulb - Mercury-Laden Scam

Fox News’ Eric Bolling interviewed this morning with the Fox and Friends crew. He held up two lightbulbs: one traditional “Edison” that we all know and love, and one of the mercury-laden Squiggly bulbs. The “Edison” costs half that of the Squiggly and is made in Cleveland, Ohio. The Squiggly, officially known as a compact fluorescent lightbulb (cfl) is made in China. Just sayin…

  • The Squiggly uses more electricity, gives off less light and lasts less the time as the Edison does.

  • I use the Edison Light bulbs to soften my clay and wax so I can sculpt. There is not one other type of bulb that will do that. The squiggles don’t. I am stocking up on incandescent light bulbs, because without them, I’m unable to use the clay I use to sculpt, because it’s to hard and needs the softness that comes with the heat of the incandescent. So now, not only do I have to worry about getting through March, financially, but now I have to worry about even being able to sculpt like I’ve been able to up to now. All because of Liberals.
Never mind you need a hazmat team to clean up a broken squiggly. The Chines are just rolling with laughter at the idiots in this country. I’m not one of them. If it was up to me, I’d tax the Chines like Donald Trump suggested…

  • If you want to save energy, you should either use fluorescent fixtures that take “tubes, or you could use older “preheat” compact fluorescent. These are the type that flash before starting and their you could also switch to LED bulbs as well.
