Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly is identified as the man who died as a suicide bomber in attacks in Stockholm. He is Iraqi born and attended the University of Bedfordshire in Luton, England which is a hot-bed of angry Muslim activity. Taimour al-Abdaly is the only dead in the attack. Two shoppers received minor injuries. See a video below.
The bomber sent an email to police and a news bureau minutes minutes before he died, warning of revenge attacks for the presence of Swedish soldiers in Afghanistan.
The Iraqi-born bomber first set his car on fire and then walked 200 metres before the explosives, believed to be in a backpack strapped to his body, detonated.
He owned the car and believed to have had a job on the corner where he died, carrying a sign advertising a fish-and-chips restaurant.
Taimour al-Abdaly was looking for a second wife, which he said his current wife had agreed to. According to his online postings at Muslima.com, a dating site, he had two daughters ages three and not quite two.
Luton, England is home to the plotters of the July 7th, 2005 (7/7) bombings of three of London’s tube trains and one bus. Fifty-two people died at the will of four suicide bombers.
