I don’t know why Republicans aren’t out there every day shouting this from the rooftops. Andrea Mitchell told outgoing Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) how extending the current tax rates will cost the government “$400 billion and $140 billion for the millionaires.” Gregg had to explain to the liberal Mitchell that the money people earn doesn’t belong to the government. I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to get this through their thick skulls, but Gregg did a pretty good job of making the point.
