David B. Jenkins at Pajamas Media has an interesting post up comparing-and-contrasting Barack Obama and Sarah Palin.

Barack Obama - Sarah Palin

A few of the contrasts:

★ Obama presents as a victim, Palin a victor
★ Palin is gracious, Obama is a churl
★ Obama has campaigning ability, Palin has executive ability
★ Palin is spotless, Obama is corrupt
★ Palin loves America, Obama apologizes for America
★ Palin is polarizing, Obama is radioactive
★ Palin’s world view is Christian; Obama’s is Marxist

I think the list is a little biased. Both could be considered radioactive and polarizing.

Also, Palin has been accused of playing the aggrieved victim.

Obama now has presidential executive ability that trumps Palin’s two year stint as governor.

I like Palin and cannot stand Obama, but she and here supporters will have to take a different tack.

She beat Obama in the experience department two years ago, but now he holds the high cards on that one.

    Happy New Year!

Maggie, great article, thanks for pointing us to it. I’m going to cross-post this.

The article and list is 100% accurate. And though I know my views aren’t shared by all, it’s been clear to me for some time now that what our country is going through all comes down to two opposite stands in life: with God, or without.

Sarah Palin may not be our next president, she may not run, or she may not get elected if she does run. But she stands up and states, over and over again, that she loves America and believes in America as the Founders meant America to be. Her executive experience trumps Obama’s, even after two years of him holding the office of president of the free world, because holding the office does not equal ‘executive experience.’ He hasn’t shown us any ability to make sound decisions.

She outshines him and outdoes him on so many levels. Linking you in my next post, too.

I don’t know what is ahead for Palin, but whatever it is, she will be a helpmate to conservatives. It oozes out of her. How can that be bad. I can’t think of one other conservative I can that about. Thanks so much for linking.

Silverfiddle I agree. I won’t be voting for either of them. Palin needs more experience such as in the House or Senate. Running her in 12 will guarantee obama a 2nd term because Independents won’t vote for her. She is a great cheerleader for conservatives and draws the crowds and the $$$ but she is lacking in so many other ways for the position of POTUS.

Conservative Pup, Silver, ticker, I agree with Pup, although I agree somewhat with ticker, in that I don’t know who I will vote for, but if Palin is the nominee I will certainly vote for her.

If Palin has been painted a victim, it was justified, but other than telling the story she had no “poor me whines,” as Obama does so often (they treat me like a dog). I believe it’s a false accusation.

I do believe Obama has more foreign policy experience, courtesy of 2 years in office, but he has been wrong on almost all of it.

If Palin is polarizing, it’s with people that I disagree with anyone. For the Republicans who blame her for being toxic, I don’t agree with anything they stand for in the Republican party – not because they don’t like Palin, but because the represent everything that’s wrong with the GOP.

Having said, yes the list is biased, but but that can be said about every article written by a supporter of any candidate. In the main, I think it’s fairly accurate.

Happy, Happy New Year Everyone! Be safe tonight!
