I’m not shocked about Satan being anywhere, even in the Vatican, but it is shocking to hear charges that there are Cardinals in the Vatican who do not believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ.
Of course, it is somewhat about a new book written by Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican’s “chief exorcist.” There are stories of murder and cover-ups in the Vatican involving the acclaimed Swiss Guard, power struggles, homosexuality and those Cardinals who do not believe in Jesus.
The idea that Satan had infiltrated the Vatican is not shared by all:
Father Jose Antonio fortea Cucurull, a Rome-based exorcist, said that Father amorth had “gone well beyond the evidence” in claiming that Satan had infiltrated the Vatican corridors.
“Cardinals might be better or worse, but all have upright intentions and seek the glory of God,” he said. Some Vatican officials were more pious than others, “but from there to affirm that some cardinals are members of satanic sects is an unacceptable distance.”
About all I know about exorcism is from the movies. This is from the Vatican exorcist:
Father Amorth told La Repubblica that the devil was “pure spirit,

Readers, any thoughts about this, and especially about Cardinals not believing in Jesus and still serving the Church?
