Scott Brown seems to be an easy and prolific speaker. Tonight at his election celebration, he told us all we can do this, over and over, throughout the U.S. – meaning unseat a Democrat, seat a Republican.
Brown, still saying he drives a truck, admonished the House and the Senate saying the backroom deals and the closed meetings need to stop. He promised to work toward responsible health care reform with both Democrats and Republicans. In his congratulatory phone call from President Obama, he challenged the Prez to 2-on-2 hoops with his daughter Ayla, who is a a starting guard for the Boston College women’s basketball team. He also mentioned speaking to Senator John Kerry by phone. I can’t confirm this, but I heard that earlier in the evening, before Brown took the stage, the crowd was chanting, “John Kerry is next.”
